Arey yaar, don't you know its the rule, whatever ishita says and does is right, no matter what criminal activities romi has done he will get away with because ishita says so, and if ishita says raman is the root cause of every single problem in the world no matter how much wrong was done to him, we and raman have to accept it and bow his head down to whoever she says even if the other person was wrong😉

Just to glorify the female lead she can do whatever she wants with her husband, beat him up as well and its classed as comedy by this forum, but if the same was done to ishita by raman then everybody will be ready with their pitchforks on this forum and call it domestic violence

Well said dear... by hook or crook, they always make Raman the reason for all the problems... at last, he will be shown apologizing to evey one... I think this time, neelu might get a chance to get an apology from Raman...😆

So I do not like and have voiced that I don't like how this patch up came to fruition

However I don't think it's to glorify anyone or anything like that

It's a way the makers want to be "light-hearted" and "funny" but they can't do this with Ishita so it's Raman's time to shine.

My problem is not glorifying or the process of saying sorry bc Raman does need to apologize to Romi. It's now they belittle his emotions and this brothers' fight to something silly. But both Romi and Raman need to own up to their part in their fall out...it took 2 to break the relationship to this extent

It hurts me to see emotions turned to jokes. It doesn't Matter if it's Ishita or Raman's emotions...but to see deep seated and intense emotions disrespected for "humor" is sad.

This isn't Ishita vs. Raman. The problem is more the fact they don't handle Raman's emotions well - they build up his emotions intensely and then either discredit them with anger or a kaand or they mock them with humor...lately they also don't show independently meaningful relationships with him and anyone but Ishita, which is a disservice to him as a son and father and friend.

But these issues I listed are independent of Ishita. Bc if you look at the show both Ishita and Shagun have a clear POV that viewers can follow...it's Raman, on his own, who doesn't.

So for many the problem with this patch up is the lack of delicacy - nothing more or less.

We can only hope the patch up is from both ends and they touch on some of Romi's errors too.

Thanks for quoting me...

But I only meant to point out about Romi and Raman there, and not Ishita. It's just that in my eyes Romi has been a creep and idiot far more longer and from DAY 1. And I've never seen him repent or apologize for any of it. After being insulted by Raman he rebelled and by doing so many more wrongs. So even if he deserves an apology, he needs to be sorry for many things as well...

Sigh..thats the tone of the show na ? Turn emotionally sensitive issues into tragedy. It's beyond glorification now. You have Shravan committing suicide and then that would be just brushed aside..imagine they use something like that for drama. They have turned Ruhi's PTSD into a joke..by comparison this is nothing. They want happy Bhalla family before Shagun's flip. Toh, give back Romi.
Both brothers needed that 1 moment of conversation, which might be there or not, after this comedy. It's just silly how this serial treats men and women at times..totally weird and silly.

EXACTLY. Emotions are emotions... whether they be Raman's or Ishita's and NONE should be belittled like that. My grouse isn't about one character being glorified here... Ishita is known to from DAY 1 be someone who likes to bring people together, sort issues...that isn't even new.

It's only that why make a joke out of true emotions. What happened 7 years ago, what made Raman say those words, what he went through after saying them and so on? Wrong or right, there has to be a thought process but now they don't show his individual thoughts whatsoever.Everyone has their moment where they express what they have to...even Romi got the moment when he spoke to Ishita. But with Raman it's never there.

So like you said the problem is not about Ishita versus Raman or Ishita being the one making this happen...it's the treatment given to one characters emotion repeatedly that bothers.

Yup word
And @bold..that's what hurts...for all his flaws hw has at many times been a great father, husband , brother, son...so for once will it hurt to show that the family values it while understanding his mental state and quirks too...
Thus idea that ishuta 'understands' him better than the rest is endearing ...but then this silly way of treating a grown mans.. and a very sensitive one at that's. ..emotions. ..is in very poor taste. ..
But cvs ka kya karein. .they will be proud of b this scene and how 'different' it is like the past 2 times when they had raman beaten up and chased around...
In this track..till date no one has questioned romi working for ashok yet... and the iyers and mihika seem to defend it..ishita .,who has the b compulsive need to interrogate everyone has not even once asked mihika or romi why they were working with ashok all this time...all facts...yet am I hoping for too much when I expect an apology from both sides.. what kind of character portrayal is this😕
