For all those who believe thatIshq Ka Rang Safed's Viplav Tripathi aka Mishal Raheja has demanded a lumpsum for each episode and is therefore on the verge of losing his role, here is the truth directly from the horse's mouth.

Mishal has put a rest to all the rumours suggesting any such thing. The actor has openly stated that whoever is spreading these rumours might be holding a grudge against him.

In an exclusive conversation with Timesofindia.com, Mishal retaliated to the rumours saying that similar rumours did the rounds earlier when he was a part of Laagi Tujhse Lagan.

When asked about the rumours of him quitting the show, the actor said, "I have no clue who is spreading these rumours. I am going nowhere. In fact, I am on the sets today shooting for the show. I think whoever is spreading the news must be having some grudge against me. I remember someone spreading similar rumours when I was doing Laagi Tujhse Lagan."

Mishal also laughed off on the buzz of asking a hike in remuneration of Rs. 3 crores per day, "I think the person who wrote the story might have got confused with the figure. How can someone ask for Rs 3 crore per day. I am happy that the report has increased my market value (laughs). I have a two year contract with the production house."

The recent numbers of the show has spiked up and Mishal stated that the entire team is absolutely elated and positive with the news.

Mishal's co-actor Eisha Singh was recently replaced by Sajeeda Sheikh and the actor revealed that the TRP's have gone slightly high with her presence on the screen
