Chapter 9
Rey jumped inside her room through window, he looked around and found her curled up on the bed. She was sobbing badly, hugging her fluffy soft teddy-bear.
"Taani!" Rey called out for her softly.
Her head snapped toward the source of the voice. Her eyes widen seeing him there, in her bedroom. She got up and sat on the bed, still in shock.
Taani rubbed her eyes and look at him again to confirm he was there in real.
"What the hell are you doing here? How did you got in?" Taani got down from the bed and rushed to him. Her eyes were puffy and red, she had been crying since she had come back from college.
Today she couldn't control her emotions. Since childhood she has tolerate alot, but never cried but today, people were questioning her character, calling her and her mother names and it was something she couldn't tolerate.
"Taani, are you alright?" Rey ignored her questioned and asked her, taking a step close to her.
"Yeah! I am alright! I am more than alright. People are calling me characterless, cheap, the one who is trying to trap you. I feel fantastic." She laughed sarcastically with tearful eyes.
"Leave from here, Rey! I don't wanna talk to you." Taani spat harshly.
"Sh. Stop crying." Rey whispered, he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly, she tried fighting him and eventually gave, she burst into tears and cried her heart out.
Taani was not in her sense, she wanted some comfort and at that moment she was getting that comfort from her bully, she didn't cared. She was tired of people judging her and her mother because of a man's cowardliness.
"I have got that article removed permanently." Rey told her while hugging her tightly, She brought a different side in him. He hates to see her so broken.
"Why are you being so nice to me? After all its your sister and friends who published the article-" Taani broke the hug and look at him with painful expression.
"I am completely against of them this time. It was cheap and unforgivable." Rey muttered, looking straight into her eyes.
"Why? Even you bully me because i am Rishi shekhawat's illegitimate child-" Taani asked him, looking at him but he avoid looking at her, not meeting her eyes.
"My reasons are different than that." Rey told her honestly. His friends and sister might hate her because she is Rishi's daughter, but he don't. It doesn't matter to him if she is Rishi's illegitimate child or not. For him, she was just a girl who had captured his mind.
"Then why do you bully me?" Taani questioned him.
Rey looked here and there, not knowing what to answer her. But before he could say anything, the door of her room burst open, revealing Anita and Rishi.
"Taani!"
