I think most of us are off on what month she's in right now. Her answers definitely imply something's going on, but like she said, "I'm not giving a timeline" so we don't know what month. Whether she is or not pregnant, it does seem like she and Saif are trying for a child right now. Never have her answers been more strong about wanting a baby.

Remember her, "the purpose of marriage isn't to have children, we may not even want children" a few years back?

Or her famous "not for another 2-3 years"

@ desigirl, I don't know if you have read this but Kareena has given a print interview stating that she had a viral fever due to which she didn't show up for promotions or recent press conference. Anyway the movie promoted itself thanks to CBFC controversy.

Either your sources had got it wrong or if they are right she may have had a miscarriage or they may be in the process of trying for one. We will never know but if the second reason is true then she needs some space and no wonder is not willing to give any details on the same. I sometimes wonder if Vidhya took an unofficial break for the same reason and then returned back after a gap.
