As per the promo, some Bijli devi who is the head of their community questioned Daya's marital status and rest followed. I think its quite embarrassing to discuss about a woman's marriage even if she was really unmarried. Once a woman says she is not interested in marriage everyone should move on and respect her view. However, here the woman says she has to get married if Bagha Bawo marriage has to happen. This is sheer blackmail.

If I were Bapuji I would have said that in our community sagai cannot be postponed. It has to be cancelled once for all.
