Aadaab & Pranaam to all AkDhians! 😳

Exactly three years back, on this very day, we were introduced to a show, that we never knew would so effortlessly capture our hearts and never return them back completely! ❤️

It has been three long years since the first glimpse of our royal couple adorned our screens, and yet, it seems like yesterday when we knew nothing of them.

We fell in love with these two most amazing people even before they actually came together, it was their enchanting voice in the first soul-talk that stole our hearts away! ❤️

From that very scene, till the end, it was just the two of them, our AkDha, all the way. We AkDha fans never paid heed to anyone else in that half-an-hour, it was just the two of them, in their own world. And it was just us, who could never get enough of drooling over them!

It was perhaps the sizzle that rung through the screen every time Jodha - Jalal were together onscreen, or perhaps it was the aankhon ke ishaare between them, that very often conveyed more than we could fathom, or maybe it was the unexpected hand-holds, maybe it were the smirks and their reactions, maybe it were the extremely fiery interactions they had, maybe it was the beautiful journey that ultimately led to pure love...whatever it was, the magical charm of this couple kept us hooked to the screens all through.

We will always be grateful to the show for giving us a couple we so heartily admire, memories that we so lovingly cherish, and above all, for introducing us to a love story so magical, it'll live on in our hearts! ❤️

Here's wishing a very happy anniversary to a show that was meant to rule hearts...Jodha Akbar rules!! ⭐️

Our show derives it's name from it's wonderful leads - Jodha and Akbar. Both are as striking personalities as possible. But then, opposites attract, don't they? 😉

Shehenshah Jalal-ud-din Mohammad

The male protagonist of our show, Jalal, was one of the most interesting characters television ever had to offer. Someone who handled the Mughal throne at the age of 13, he was a rock hard warrior, who had a heart softer than most others, though cased in the walls of hatred. And that's obvious for someone who had lost his childhood to the responsibilities of kingdom expansion.
Love was something that he never believed in, though unknowingly, he did love his close ones a lot. Like every other warrior, he was taught to believe that love made men weaker, and that weakness should hold no place in a true warrior's life.
Though considered to be heartless, it was this tedha avatar of Jalal that we all fell for. No JA fan would ever deny that no matter what, our Tedha Emperor was the best! ⭐️😉
He was a character of many shades, all of which we witness throughout the journey of the show. Initially, we were introduced to Jalal the ambitious conqueror, whose only dream was to rule the land of Hindustan, next we saw the dutiful and obeying son of his Khan Baba and Badi Ammi, who considered their words to be irreversible lines, then we came to know the Jalal who shared a lovely friendship with Ruqaiya, and also to the most lovable avatar of his, a doting father to little Rahim. All these roles were already quite skilfully played by him before we meet the newly-in-love lover to Jodha. This avatar of his is by far the most adorable one! 😳 And his journey towards realizing his own feelings is one to cherish. ❤️

It is during this journey that we are also introduced to the Jalal we know today - a people's emperor.
Through the various twists and turns of his life, he has very often emerged as a wonderful human being...though there have also been times when he was mistaken and at fault.
But we can surely brush them off, because it's not everyday that we see as charming a personality as our Jalal's!
And to end, how can we ever forget our TE's trademarks smirks?! Well, well, well, Jalal ki isi adaa par toh hum fida hain! 😉

Rajkumari Jodha Bai

The eldest princess of Amer, our female protagonist, Rajkumari Jodha Bai was every bit a true Rajputani. Pure fire ran through her veins, and she had a heart of the purest gold around! ❤️ No wonder her innate goodness reflected itself in the natural glow of her charming beauty.
Just like most other Rajputs of the time, she too had immense hatred for the Mughal ruler. Only is she knew it was the same man she would very soon fall for head-over-heels! 😉
We are introduced to our princess as being someone who cares for even the smallest creation of God out there. As she manages to catch the injured pigeon, giving us the very first glimpse of herself, the glee of having accomplished her mission shines through her doe-shaped, hazel eyes!
Just like Jalal, Jodha too is portrayed as a perfect fit in as many roles as she plays. We first come to know the out-of-bounds daughter of her parents, then meet the kindness personified Jodha, and are introduced to a wonderful sister to her siblings, a lovely friend to Moti, and a rightful princess to Amer. It is this worthy princess of Amer that sacrifices her entire life for her motherland - something very few have the courage to do.
Like Jalal, the much-in-love avatar of Jodha too was adorable. In the pretense of Kajri, we saw a Jodha who was shy yet lovely, hesitant yet so madly in love! ❤️
Apart from being Kajri the lover, she was also an amazing companion to Jalal, by his side when needed. The Empress Jodha in action along with the Emperor has always been a sight to behold, also because it is one rare treat! ⭐️
To end, how can we forget our tedhi Jodha? ⭐️😉 And also, her hot hot clashes with her dear husband? Uff... Well, if you did forget all that, here's something I bet you haven't lost memory of... remember that Ghrinit Jantu in Jodha style? 😉

If Jalal and Jodha were sparks of fire individually, together they were no less than a volcano!
The magical screen presence they had, and the sizzle that they created together onscreen was something no JA Fan can ever forget.
From the extreme hatred they had for each other, to the gradual building up of mutual trust, from genuine friendship to pure love, this couple traveled through all of this, giving us moments to cherish forever.
AkDha were sizzling hot as Haters, simply adorable as friends, and lovingly romantic as lovers! ❤️
Even in the extreme ghrina days, we AkDha Fans would still drool about every single hand-hold, every little eyelock, and every little smile or smirk passed! 😉 That is the effect this charming duo had on us, and still continues to have. ❤️
If you think the effect is slowly fading away, have a look at the first sword-fight and I'm sure you'll have those vibes all around you...😉😆
This couple brought to light the fact that eyes can speak much more than words can. And it isn't just to say, there have many many scenes where you could actually feel the eyes conversing, while the tongues have a vacation.
And not to forget, our AkDha initialized a revolution in the era of handholds...Their hands seemed more in love than they themselves were! 😆😉 Well, jokes apart, such little happy moments comprise the best of Jodha Akbar. ❤️
The magic they created onscreen first as Ms. Hot and Mr. Cool, then as two wonderful buddies, and finally as eternal lovers, would continue to remain in the hearts of all AkDhians till eternity! ❤️
It's unthinkable not to talk of the two wonderful people here who brought our AkDha to life - Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma. It is without a doubt that it is because of these two amazing actors and their natural chemistry that we have been able to connect to Jodha and Jalal so easily. We are immensely grateful to both of them for giving us a couple to admire forever and tons of beautiful memories! ⭐️❤️

A journey is most often more beautiful than it's destination. Same is the case with our AkDha, the journey they undertook to reach the ultimate love story, was in itself something extra-ordinarily beautiful.
Let's have a stroll down the memory lane, full of moments to cherish. This is a Journey to Remember! ❤️

I'm sure none of us has ever forgotten the start of JA's journey - the first soul-talk. ❤️

Two beautiful souls reliving their journey together on earth - the thought itself is touching. And the one line that stood out in the entire scene was - " Tum toh khud ko aaine mein dekh rahi ho..." ( You're watching your own mirror image...) This is, like the entire AkDha love story summed up in a sentence.
I don't think any other show had such a beautiful beginning ever on Indian Television.
The next milestone in this journey is the Gangaur festival - Jalal and Jodha having the first glimpses of each other.

We had Jalal all lost in the unknown, binding charm of Jodha, whom destiny had asked him to have a look at.
This one moment is powerful enough to make you go crazy over this couple. The tune of Ishq Hai Woh Ehsaas is at it's best! ❤️
While we have Jalal lost in Jodha, Jodha lost in the thoughts of Jalal, the AkDha Fans too were lost in some unknown dreamland! 😉
The two scenes in this track where we had AkDha together, just gave an idea as to what crackers to expect when the two are together in future! 😉

Finally, a month later, we have the much awaited Shaahi Shaadi. ❤️

The royal wedding of Jodha and Jalal was a big affair in the show, just like it might have been centuries ago.
There was a lot of pomp and show, but the two people concerned never seemed like a couple being married. One was at his smirking best, and the other was busy blaming her fate. But for AkDhians, the fact that they're now gonna live together was enough! 😆
It was a turning point also for the show, for it was at this time when the audience started getting hooked to this mesmerizing duo. 😳
Hereafter, there have been so many milestone scenes that it's impossible to take all into account. Let's just look at the landmarks.
The Ruqaiya's MC track - It brought forward the very first signs of a humane relationship between Jodha and Jalal.

For the first time, Jalal is touched by Jodha's sweet gesture of writing a heart-felt poem for his unborn child.
She begins to occupy his thoughts, and a set of smiles is exchanged between them probably for the first time.
It is because of this newly developed trust that Jalal is shocked and enraged by the thought that Jodha is behind Ruqs' MC.
Though the whole fiasco ended without the culprit being caught and truth still hidden, this brought in a new layer of trust on this relationship.
Next, we have Jodha and Jalal visiting Ajmer Sharif, one of my favorite set of episodes.

It was a rediscovery of themselves and each other for both Jodha and Jalal. For Jodha, this journey was about seeing a completely new Jalal, someone she never imagined existed. And indeed it was a new Jalal for us too, he was much closer to God, much calmer, and even wished God to fulfill Jodha's wish! That was so so so sweet of him...😳
For Jalal, it was about discovering Jodha's thoughts about his religion, her acceptance of his ways.
Moreover, this journey had some lovely, light moments between JJ.

We had Jodha laughing at Jalal's words - another first for her. 😳
We had the tiger attack just after this, a contrast to the calm and peaceful journey.

But with Jalal saving Jodha from the tiger, she was in for another surprise. And we also saw Jodha the wife here, doing all she could to save her husband.

With this track, ended the Ghrina phase of JA. 😳😆

Phase 2 of JA started with the onset of the Sukanya wedding Track.

This was the most delightful set of episodes in the entire course of JA. Our Mr. Cool & Ms. Hot were a treat as the ice & fire combo! 😳😉

We have loads of fun moments between our AkDha. Like the famous 'Ooh Aah' punishment, 😉 the hand-holding games, 😆 the story-telling time with lil shehzaadis, 😳 the Kheer incident, 😆 the green color favoritism...😉, the secret spying by Jalal...😉, and more. 😳
Oh yes, we had a smarty Jodha hugging Maham too, remember? 😉😆

Besides the fun, we had Jalal pondering over the fact that it matters to him what she thinks about him, why so? 😳

We have a puzzled Jodha after Jalal agrees to give his prized fort to Sukanya's in-laws.

And we got to see Tedha Jalal as well, who did give the fort away, but in his own unique way. 😎😉
But the most special moment in all of this was, Jalal bowing down to Maa Kaali to keep Jodha's vow. That was an incredible, touching moment. ❤️

It only goes on to show how these two accepted each other's religions and respected their faiths. ❤️

The aftermath of the Amer track also had some beautiful moments and a friendly relation growing between AkDha. 😳

Jalal supports Jodha in her decision to not change her religion, and a grateful Jodha asks him for a lunch date! 😉😳
This was one of the most adorable AkDha moments ever. ❤️
This track also saw Jodha telling Jalal that she did not hate him any more, and trusted his decisions. 😳
You can imagine Jalal's condition then! 😉😆

And we saw AkDha gifting each other with priceless gifts on their birthdays. 😳
Jodha presents Jalal with his subjects' blessings, something which was more valuable to him than anything else. ❤️

And Jalal, gives Jodha a morpankh for her Kanha, which obviously is very close to her heart. She is pleasantly surprised by this act of his, which was quite unexpected to her. 😳❤️

By then if not Jo, then Jalal for sure was in love! 😳😆
But we then approached a huge misunderstanding - the letter kaand...🤢
Jodha writes a letter to Jalal for conveying her gratitude after Jalal's decision in Tasneem case. But, Maham is here to spoil everything...😡

And Jalal after listening to Maham's version of Jo's letter, is in his own dreamland thinking that Jo has invited him to her room...😆😔
And his dreams are dangerously hot! 😉

Too hot to handle, haan? 😉 It was the same for our Jalal, he couldn't seem to be able to wait at all! 😆
All that preceded that infamous dhakka was really beautiful, it made you wish the cursed dhakka had never happened! 😔
Jalal's confession to Jodha was so sweetly and honestly presented, you couldn't help but feel bad at what turn the story was about to take. 😭

But the dhakka did happen, and with it followed heartbreak and the thirst of revenge!
And it was at this inauspicious time that Benazir entered! 🤢 Bar few good times here and there, this was only a jealousy game throughout.

But this did bring out Jodha's hidden feelings of love for Jalal. 😳 And everything changed when she came to know that Benazir was a vishkanya on a mission to kill Jalal.
It was now more a game for her, it was the determination of a wife to save her husband no matter what happens. And so she did! ⭐️

Jodha's sacrifice brought with it a shattered Jalal. It was his turn to realize how lifeless he is without his Jodha. Jalal's plea to God was heart-wrenching to watch! 😭

But Jodha and Jalal were meant to unite, and so they did. And the post-Benazir part was unarguably the best of JA! ❤️

From the little fun moments of laughter to the eyes talking in the Angoori Bagh, from Jalal's care to Jodha's blush...this was so lovely we haven't yet got over it!
Then came the peak of Jodha Akbar - Badal Kajri. ❤️

No amount of words would be able to describe the magic of these 3-4 episodes. You can just say they were heavenly! ❤️ ❤️
To hear Jalal address Jo as Bhaagwaan is in itself no less than a treat! 😳❤️ From the cheerful Badal to the shy Kajri, our Seth Ji and Sethani Sa were simply adorable! 😳❤️
Some more fun followed after this, and then a looong separation! 😡

Let's not talk about Sujamal Track please, it's a torture even to think of our beloved couple separated for a whole month! Though both of them take the blame of not trusting each other...😡
Though we had a sword-fight during this time, which was quite steamy! 😉

More anger followed, for our Jodha being Jodha was too stubborn to give in so easily. But she had to, for our Jalal is a charmer! 😉😳
And we had the mesmerizing reunion of our AkDha! ❤️😳

And then, after a year of this lovely bond, finally...

Neither the show nor their journey ends here, but since we have to stop somewhere, let's end at some happy moment. 😳😃

Hi Diary!

I hope you know that I am the JA show on Zee TV and I want to write about myself..

"You may think my dear Diary, that as a three year old what I can write..But do you know diary, that the three year old has seen more than 1000 days? I was entertaining people for over 1000 days and you should know how difficult it was for me to do the job..

"I am reminiscing those lovely days diary.. I was precious to my parents as I was born after a long wait..When I was born, I was such a sweet cherub, that those visited me loved me and started to adore me. I was considered as the most beautiful child.. Many aunties like Shyamala, Skanda, Harshu and Lashy wanted to be my foster parent..They smiled when I was happy and was angry when I played mischief..My dear Diary, I still remember how I had a very great time till I was one year old, when I used to have so many visitors coming to see me daily..

"But my dear Diary, after my first birthday, when I began to walk and talk, I did not know why the same aunties not loving me like before, but started to comment "Don't do this. ..Don't do that.."

"What can I do diary, I was so small then, and I didn't even know how to change myself..I was brought up by nannies, who were changed frequently by my parents..One nanny took me to the forest to show me the tiger and another one made me cry and cry and enjoyed my crying saying that it was good for my health and growth..How? I didn't understand..How is it, diary, if anyone cries, people will love him? Actually, that day, when I cried non-stop for some reason, I saw so many visitors coming to see me...

"But actually when I come to think about my early days, diary, I just wonder how I was pampered by a number of visitors..Every day, the visitors who came to see me drenched me with high praises and good wishes..they were so crazy about me that they even renamed themselves as Akdha fanatic, Akdha fan, Parijat rocks, Akdha parijat luv, munni rajat fan, melovesja and so on.

"How can I forget those days , when I was taken for periodical medical check ups, I was certified as the healthiest child! I was rated the best child continuously for several months..

" If I can guess correctly, my dear diary, this sudden U-turn had happened after my heart, the most vital organ of the body started to show weakness towards someone, who was considered by some as not worthy enough for any special attention, but I did not know why...When the most important organ started to become weak and inactive, how can the person be healthy and robust? I could not satisfy the demands of the friends..I could not do what I was expected to do.. whatever I spoke, and whatever I did turned idiotic and brought sarcastic comments..

"Only then, my dear diary, I found those who loved and adored me during my initial days , started to hate me. Shyamala aunty and others did not even want to see my face..Those were the terrible days, when I felt like going away, leaving my people.. You can imagine my plight..

"At one stage, Diary, my condition became so weak, that some of our friends thought I wouldn't even survive...

"This was the time when I decided to put an end to all my pranks, stopped my activities and took rest...

"And then the miracle happened.. My mom delivered a baby and the baby looked exactly like me! And to my surprise, our friends, who disappeared after my first birthday, slowly started visiting the new born. Shyamala aunty came on the first day itself and she fondly handled the baby.. and with her also came other aunties...Shyamala aunty made the baby very adorable by dressing the baby each day with a different dress ..The house is now full of friends like Shagun, Bindu, Payal, Harshu and others bustling with fun and activity..

"Everyday there is a lot of fun and laughter in the house Diary! I hope this continues for the rest of the days to come..

"Time runs fast Diary!. During these nine months, I see the baby's progress, imagining about my early days ...

It's been three years of my favorite show! Jodha Akbar was the first show I watched from start till the end, it was the first show I was so crazy about, and it will be something that I'll always cherish.
8 PM was so special, that weekends were a torture. Even now I miss it so much! 😔
It gave me memories to cherish, moments to laugh and enjoy, and introduced me to this forum, where I got so many friends.
Also, it made me love history. ⭐️
Jodha Akbar Rocks!! ⭐️
Wish to see PariJat back again...😳

Congratulations to our dear show its three now.🥳A Very Happy Third Anniversary to the most enchanting, epic, endearing, divine and Am-a-zin-gest show ever.⭐️😃😳 A happy third anniversary to the JA team, specially our dear Paridhi and Rajat and all the Akdhaians'. Jodha Akbar came and conquered our hearts forever, never to look back. The feeling is so amazing, it's another year and still the memories are afresh in our hearts in, in our minds. A bond that bloomed between Jodha and Jalal, nurtured by love and time will remain forever, till eternity. Parijat' made us fall in love with Akdha' effortlessly, they were born to be our Jodha' and Jalal'. Thank you so much for making our journey so memorable.🤗

Hurrayy!! it's the third anniversary of our beloved show and all the JA lovers,let's party hard🥳

Can't believe its been three years already😊!!JA remains the only show so close to my heart,for, it had been a part of my life and still is, in the form of this wonderful forum😃

It has introduced me to the virtual family of IF,without which my day feels incomplete😊

I was immensely crazy for the show,waiting eagerly for the clock to strike 8,hating weekends,cursing the villains😆,watching repeats, waiting for promos, off-screen pics,SBS segments and so on.😳

Of course, the story of every JA fan is pretty much same😉. That's the magic of our AkDha .It's creating records even during the re-run⭐️.

It's impossible not to talk of Rajat and Paridhi,their exceptional performance👏 and charm which got me and all of us hooked to the show😳Undeniably,they played a major rule in its success even during the worst tracks.

Good luck PariJat and Long live JA!!😃

A memorable day for me off course! 18th of June.. When something really amazing was going to happen! Thoughts can be fleeting, love and happiness most uplifting. But memories of so many love filled days together will surely last forever! Happy one year anniversary to a glorious serial, which made an imprint on the hearts of millions! I STARTED TO SEE THE SERIAL ONLY AFTER WATCHING THE CONTROVERSY ABOUT IT...I SAW FEW EPISODE AND START TO LIKE IT AND DON'T KNOW WHEN ITS BECOME MY ROUTINE😃 ...I FIRST START ADMIRE JODHA'S BEAUTY THEN SLOWLY SLOWLY I REALLY LIKE...NO NO LOVE JALAL AND HIS ACTING😳

PARIDHI AND RAJAT DID AWESOME WORK

I JUST LOVE ALL THE TRACK OF JA...EITHER ITS THERE HATE TRACK, BENAZIR TRACK, ATIFA, LABONI ETC...BUT MOST AMAZING WAS HUSSAIN-HUSSAIN'S TRACK😃

WHEN JODHA AKBAR ENDS I FEEL THAT A PART OF MY GETS MISSING😭😭

Three Beautiful Years

Three years , so its been three years since this journey began .

With the rise of sun & its rays descending on Makbara (tomb) of Emperor Akbar the Great & his Queen Marium Uz Zamaani . Screen focuses at Emperor's resting place where Queen comes to stole a glance at her love , her husband , her Shehenshah . The soft tunes that backdropped this scene are mellifluous .

Amid this quietude our Azeem O Shaan Shehenshah enters , after some initial pleasantry , they start talking about their love their lives , 400 years back how it all started & events of past start unfolding infront of us .

A tale where amidst of hatred , conspiracies , betrayals , dissension , misapprehension , squabbles , an eternal bond of love developed & intensified ...❤️

Their love journey had many golden moments , my most favorite one was episode 169...😳

This episode had so many shades , that even after watching several times still i couldn't get over of it ...

The writer in me emerged to show my many aspects.

Drawn by the style of Shyamala's writing, I did want

To venture into the dreamland to have a jaunt

"Will you accept me as your kin ?" ,to the forum members I asked

To my joy, in their love and affection I basked.

I doubted if I could write with those writers on par

But later was surprised to see myself in many an Avatar!

As an author of fun posts, or a Judge ordering decree,

An examiner conducting quiz, or a holy person the future to foresee,

A TV presenter of a debate, or a cookery show, I was at ease.

But the at the end of of the day what is left d'you know?

It's myself and my alter ego my Baby Sarasa, I can say with a bow

Who brought out the poet within me

Which made me do remixes that make every one happy!

So, it's been 3 years since we saw our first glimpses of those initial trailers that aired on TV - of Jalal, Jodha and the pigeon!

I remember how enthralled I was when I came to know that two actors I've adored (Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma) were going to come together to work under the big banner. Though I didn't expect much from the makers themselves (for obvious reasons), I did have high hopes from the actors. And my, did they live up to their reputation - giving us a beautiful jodi that we continue to cherish, even months after the serial has reached its end.

Besides, this occasion is not only a time to celebrate the serial completing a milestone, it's also a beautiful reminder of the fact that we've been a part of the forum for 3 years. A forum, where we had the chance to read some literary masterpieces, to share opinions and frustrations. Where we were able to get together to admire the actors at the end of most episodes. And where we met daily to make some incredible friends over time.

While it's true that we wouldn't have been here, were it not for the serial, I do know of many who continued to be in touch with the serial just because they were a part of the forum.

So, this is me, enjoying the third year of completion of Jodha Akbar - the serial, the forum and the jodi! And hope to cherish this 'feeling' for many more years to come!

I really don't how to begin... Last three years half of my life is about Jodha Akbar 😆... Jodha Akbar is so close to my heart that I feel like I am talking about myself not the show.

There are few reasons together I got attracted to this show like a magnate.

First... Obviously🤗 RAJAT😳... I watched his all historical show and was dying to watch his next show.

Second I love historical drama... and also a big fan of Jodha Akbar Movie. I was somewhat obsessed before even show begin. And when I came to know Rajat will perform a lead role in JA... I was so happy, thrilled and excited can't even explain in words. My hubby was laughing at me seeing my excitement just because he doesn't like Indian serials.

Third reason... the serial I use to watch Ruk Jaana Nahi... In that serial, Mehek and Indu both were my favorite character in the show. I was too upset just because Pari was not getting enough space in the serial. I told my friend not once but many time this girl is much better than lead and I love her. I was in love with her smile from the day one saw her on that kinetic. So U all can guess when I came to know that Paridhi is going do Jodha's role... I almost flipped... My two favorite actors and in my fav historical character.

I followed each and every news statements about the upcoming show and the each clip before even serial began.

And throughout while show was running I felt I lived in dreamland for two years. I never thought I could even write a simple essay. I am a math and science person... I never liked language art but I began my new journey of writing because of JODHA AKBAR. I am so thankful to Ekta for this wonderful treat she has given. It's not that I was pleased with the direction of the serial, I hated many tracks especially after the leap but because of Rajat and Pari, I have lived this serial every day and night until it ended.

I am still leaving in same fantasy land. I WOULD SIMPLY SAY I AM AN ARDENT FAN OF JODHA AKBAR. EVENTHOUGH I AM A BIG FAN OF THE MOVIE BUT I WOULD SAY SERIAL WAS BETTER AND WAS WAY MORE FUN TO RELISH IT DAILY.
