Dear Star India Consumer Cell,
I don't like to constantly pester you people as I realise you do have a life beyond work but being a loyal viewer of YHM, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein that is, I really do want you to know and most importantly, realise, that the entire fanbase is very disturbed with the forced inclusion of one, yes only one character, namely Shagun since the very time slot change! Ever since, the first episode post time slot change, the plot has only revolved around Shagun's character! I clearly remember how cunningly Creatives shifted the entire focus onto glorifying, which means giving her upmost significance in the show which is about Ishita & Raman and their journey along with their issues.
YHM had so much potential whilst it was at the late night slot of 11PM. There were raw human emotions that CVs tapped into. The narrative was subtle, sensible and most importantly sensitive! Then came the wretched time slot changed and it all flew out the window.
I don't know if you know but the loyal fanbase protested day in, day out against the time slot change because we knew that the early slot only caters to an audience who take TV shows with a pinch of salt and that's being unfair to the calibre of YHM! How right were we!! I may sit here penning these lengthy posts but somewhere, deep within, I know that you people don't care about the sentiments of countless us; so long as the cash is flowing in. Of course you wouldn't care how many hearts you've broken and the potential you've destroyed with your own two hands! It is but a business.
Just to reiterate the purpose of my email: stop giving importance to a character who's well over her expiry date and please if possible, put YHM back onto the 11 PM slot! Hopeless, I am because it is but a business for you!
