CHAPTER 5
Khanak and Ananya looked around but couldn't find her locket. Ananya started crying and Khanak consoled her. Ananya ran to the hostel. After a few hours, Akash and Ravi came to Khanak and ananya's room. they were discussing and Ananya was still crying. Akash suddenly said, "Kya hua yaar! Locket hi to tha. Ab bus bhi kar." Ananya glared at Akash and Khanak said, "Vo uski mom ka tha." Akash looked at Ananya for a second and all of a sudden stood up and ran out of the room. Khanak asked, "Ise kya hua?" Ravi said, "Ignore." And they continued their talk with Ananya.
At night, Ananya was sitting on the hostel terrace and was looking into a distance. Suddenly, somebody touched her shoulder. She jumped and looked back to find Akash standing there. There weren't many lights there. So Ananya couldn't see his expressions. Akash sat down beside her and said, "Mujhe pata nahi tha ki tumhe darr bhi lagta hai." Ananya continued looking forward and replied, "Darr to sabko lagta hai." Akash sighed and said, "Vo to hai." Ananya looked at him and said, "I wasn't expecting this answer." Akash frowned, "Matlab."
"Mujhe laga ki tum baaki larko ki tarha macho man banke bologe ki main kisi se nahi darta."
Akash laughed at this and said, "Sach kahun to tumhari jagha koi aur larki hoti to yehi bolta."
"kyun?"
"Kyunki tum unmein se nahi ho jo in baton se impress ho jao. Moreover, i don't think mujhe tumhare saamne pretend karne ki zarurat hai. Isn't it?"
Ananya smiled and nodded. Akash asked, "Ab bhi upset ho?"
"Hmm"
"I am sorry!"
"Kyun?"
"Vo mujhe aise nhi bolna chahiye tha ki koi nhi locket hi to hai. I had no clue ki vo tumhari mom..."
Ananya was touched by this. she never expected him to say sorry. She kept her hand on his and said, "Its ok Akash! tumhari galti nahi hai." She blinked her eyes to assure him. Akash smiled back at her.
Both sat there in silence for some time. Akash suddenly said, "Vaise, i have something for you." Ananya raised her eyebrows. Akash took out a locket and gave it to Ananya. Ananya looked at it and then at Akash. she asked in a low voice, "Tum isko dhundne gaye the?" Akash smiled in reply. Ananya was overwhelmed with emotions. She started crying. Akash said, "Maine pura din yaha wahan isko dhundne mein isiliye nahi lagaya kit um phir rone lago. Aur ab to ye mil gaya hai na to ab..." Akash couldn't complete his sentence as Ananya was already hugging him tightly. Akash was not able to react for a second. After some time, he too wrapped his arms around her. Ananya realised that she has been hugging him for a long time, so she moved back, blushing. Akash fixed his shirt and said, "I know main bohot irresistible hun, but aaj tak kisi larki ki itni himmat nahi hui ki bina meri permission mujhe itna tightly hug kare." Ananya blushed even more and said, "Mujhe bhi permission maangni paregi ab?" Akash smiled and raised his eyebrows, "Tumme kya special hai?"
"Vo to tumhe pata hoga na"
"Matlab?"
"Matlab ye ki pure collage ki pata hai kit um mujhme kuch zyaada hi interest dikha rahe ho."
Akash took a deep breath and pulled Ananya towards him. she gasped at the sudden closeness. Akash removed the strands of hair from her face and asked in a husky voice, "Aur ye interest tumhe acha lagta hai." Ananya looked into his eyes and said, "Aisa nahi hai." Akash said in the same voice, "Main puch nhi raha, bata raha hun. Tumhe acha lagta hai. Main jaanta hun." Ananya slowly said, "Choro mujhe Akash." Akash pulled her even more closely and said, "Par tumhari aankhein khe rahi hai ki main tumhe na chorun." Akash hugged her tightly and Ananya cried silently.
After some time, Akash left her. Ananya said, "Thank you Akash." Akash acted like he was having a heart attack and said, "Oh my god! I am getting a thank you from Ananya Rawat." Ananya started laughing and punched him playfully. They talked for a long time. Ananya suddenly said, "Vaise tum itne bure bhi nahi ho." Akash replied, "main bilkul bura nahi hun...try to karo." Ananya laughed once again and said, "Gaana sunao mujhe." Akash looked at her amused expressions and said, "Itna haq jama rahi ho." Ananya replied imitating Akash's tone earlier, "Aur tumhe ye acha lag raha hai." Akash blushed and gave Ananya his shy smile.

Ananya asked, "Tumne ek baar kaha tha kit um mujhe sikha sakte ho. Vo offer ab bhi hai?" Akash turned and smiled, "Of course." Suddenly Ananya frowned and said, "Koi signal mat samjh lena ise. Main ab bhi tumme utni hi uninterested hun, jitni phele thi." Akash laughed out loud.
