"Ananya! Ananya! Dekh please uth ja yaar. Sorry ab kabhi pareshaan nahi karunga lekin please dara mat. Uth ja behen. Please!" Akash was continuously shaking Ananya, who was lying unconscious on his lap. After a few minutes Ananya slowly gained consciousness and Akash gave a sigh of relief. Ananya soon adapted to her surroundings and realised that she was on the floor with her head in Akash's lap. She sat up with a jerk and looked at Akash with wide eyes. She asked, "Tum kya karna chahte the?" Akash gave her a dumb look and said, "main kya karna chahta hun! Tum kya karna chahti ho? Achanak se kamre mein aakar aise kaun behosh hota hai bhala? Pregnant ho?" Ananya glared at him,"What?" Akash shrugged his shoulders, "just saying!" Ananya tries to stand up but as she was feeling really weak, she again falls and Akash held her shoulders to support. Akash then slowly stood and took her towards his bed and made her lie down. he quickly got a bottle of water and helped her drink some. When Ananya felt better, he asked while stroking her hair, "Kya baat hai Ananya? You look pale. Suddenly?" Ananya feel quite embarrassed. Sensing this, Akash said, "Embarrass hone ki zarurat nahi hai. Its ok. Batao kya baat hai?" Ananya slowly in a low voice said, "Mujhe anaemia hai. Isi vajha se shayad..." Akash asked, "oh! Medicines kaha hai tumhari?" Ananya said, "Medicines nahi hai." Akash frowned and asked, "Medicines nahi hai matlab?" Ananya looked at her fingers and said, "Vo di ne advance lekar mera admission karaya tha and jo paise the unse jitni medicine aayi vo khatam ho chuki hai. Upar se Samar ki tabyat kharaab hai. Main di se paise nahi maang sakti." Akash suddenly felt like hugging Ananya and taking all her pain but he controlled himself and asked, "Samar kaun hai?" Ananya replied, "Vo bua ka beta hai. Mom dad ke saath vo log bhi the. Tabse Samar bhi hamaare saath hi hai. Vo abhi 12 mein hai." Akash remained dumb struck for second when he realised that there are people who struggle for each penny and he waste it without even thinking twice. Akash slowly asked, "Abhi kaisa feel ka rahi ho?" Ananya said, "theek hun." Akash asked, "Room tak leker chalun?" Ananya nodded. Akash made her stand and both started moving towards Ananya's room.

Akash unlocked the door and found it empty. She looked at Ananya with a questioning look. She said, "Vo Ravi ke saath hai." Akash nodded and made Ananya lie down and patted her to sleep. Akash took Ananya's purse, took out a paper and left.

Next morning Ananya woke up and found the room empty. Khanak must have stayed with Ravi the whole night. God! These love birds. She smiled and nodded. Suddenly she was surrounded by Akash's thoughts. How he stroked her hair, touched her and patted her. For an unknown reason, she felt good. Ananya said to herself, "Vaise vo itna bura bhi nahi hai jitna maine socha tha." Then she sighs and continues, "But mere saath vo sirf timepass kar raha hai. I will never get a place in his life, neither as friend nor as someone else." Suddenly frowns and said, "Wait! Where did that come from? Mujhe uski life mein jagha chahiye bhi nahi. Omg Ana, tu pagal ho gayi hai." Ananya takes a deep breath and stands to freshen up.

Ananya met Khanak in the mess. She hugs her and taunts, "Tujhe to meri yaad bhi nahi aayi. Pata hai kal main behosh ho gayi thi." Khanak made a sorry face and said, "I know, mujhe subha pata chala. I am so sorry!" Ananya smiled and then soon both started their chatter as they made their way to the breakfast line.

After having breakfast, Khanak went to collect some notes while Ananya was sitting on the table. Akash came from behind and said, "Ye lo. Kha lo." He handed her some tablets. Ananya looked at Akash with surprised expression. Akash smiled and said, "Kal tumhara prescription tumhare purse se mil gaya tha. And don't worry, i can afford. In fact abse tumhari davayi main hi lekar aajaya karunga. This way tumhe apni bahen ko pareshaan nahi karna parega." Ananya was about to protest but Akash said, "Ab please mana mat karna. Dekho ye mera genuine concern hai. Maine doctor se bhi baat kit hi. Unhone bola ki with proper diet and medicine, tum jaldi theek ho jaogi. I know mess ka khana zyaada acha nahi hota but at least medicines lelo." Ananya was overwhelmed by this. she, without breaking the eye contact with Akash, took the medicines and had them. She thanked him and then Akash was called by a few boys so he left. Ananya was still in a shock when Khanak arrived. She asked, "Kya hua?" Ananya replied, "Tujhe maine bataya than a ki meri medicines khatam ho gayi hai." Khanak said, "Haan. Tu chinta mat kar. Aaj sham lekar aaungi main." Ananya smiled and showed her the medicines. Khanak frowned and Ananya said, "Akash laya." Khanak's mouth formed a perfect o'. She said, "Seriously?" Ananya nodded. Khanak said, "I told you he is a gem. Didn't i?" Ananya smiled and they left.

After the class, Ananya went to Akash, who was struggling with Tanya and few other boys, and asked, "Tum abhi free ho?" Akash looked at her with a flirtatious smile and said, "Tumhare liye to hamesha. Kya iraada hai?" Ananya nodded her head disappointedly and said, "Phir back to normal." Akash smiled shamelessly and asked, "Acha batao kya kaam hai?" Ananya said, "Vo doubts the thore." Akash said, "Acha haan kal ho nhi paya tha. Chalo library chalte hai." Both left for the library.

Ananya and Akash were in a deep discussion when Khanak and Ravi arrived. Khanak asked, "Hey people. Watsup?" Ananya smiled at her and suddenly khanak said, "Tera locket kaha hai?" Ananya touched her neck and looked around. She looked at Khanak with tears in her eyes and said, "Holy! I lost it."
