Hello all, I know plenty of you here cannot tolerate Shagun... I know how horrid she was in the past but I couldn't help feeling sorry for her when I watched yesterday's episode... isn't it fair that she feels insecure? She didn't expect much when she stepped into Ishita's shoes 7 years ago but the Ballas especially Toshi gave her hope and made her feel secure and special in that family... Now that Ishita has come back... they have just reversed the roles...
I understand that Raman never really cared for Shagun.. so it is only fair that he doesn't think about her insecurities but the family who pretended to understand her so well doesn't once think about her insecurities? It is something I fail to understand. Why can't Toshi or any of the family who so wanted Shagun to be their bahu understand how it feels to be shown that you will get something and suddenly taken away from you just because someone else came back?
It is a pity... Now why wouldn't Shagun feel cheated?
Hello there, I am one of those who cannot tolerate Shagun for obvious reasons 😊 and as a female, I also understand where you are coming from, especially the piece in bold.
The reason why nobody is paying heed to Shagun's insecurities is not just because Ishita came back. It is because of a much, much, much larger problem, which everyone else can see, but alas Shagun cannot.
The cause for which everyone is fighting together is Ruhi's comeback. Their little girl who was taken away for 7 long years, tortured and brainwashed, and hurt so bad, that she has now gone against her entire family, including the parents who doted on her. In such a scenario, which issue requires more importance and pro-active consideration - Ruhi to be saved from Niddhi, or Shagun's insecurities for a position she never truly had in the first place, and was only filing in, in Ishita's absence?
On top of that, Shagun, blinded by her own insecurities, not only fails to understand the primary reason behind everyone's motive, but also fails to see the plight of her own biological daughter. Had she been more humane towards a child who needs to be rescued and protected and loved, even if she wasn't her daughter, had she stood right next to Raman or the family in bringing Ruhi back home, who knows, her true goodness might have been valued, and the family, if nothing more, would at least feel fer insecurities. Her own son, yesterday, pointed out brilliantly, that she doesn't think about anyone else, but herself. Yes, it is ok to be selfish and to think about one's own self, but not at the cost of a kid's life which might get ruined by one's own vested interests.
In addition, yes, the family members, in the past, wanted to make her their bahu, but only because they thought she needed that legal obligation, a name to the relationship she shares with them, and more importantly, because they believed Ishita was dead and there would be nobody to care for Raman or the kids in the years to come. But would you force a horse to still drink cola to quench his long-pending thirst, if you knew water was around somewhere?
It would indeed have been pitiful and sympathetic, had she tried to balance her insecurities with the human being inside of her, and care a tiny bit more for Ruhi than her own self. Hence, you wouldn't see much support for her from people here, despite most of us being women 😊
