Remembering the Romantic 'Chalte Chalte' As It Clocks 13 Years!

Chalte Chalte featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji was a romantic flick released in 2003. The sweet movie with its melodious music won our hearts when we watched SRK and Rani romance in the lovely locales of Europe. Here are some interesting tidbits about this dreamy movie:

Trade magazines declared the film "Hit", making it the first film by Dreamz Unlimited to be a box office success.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was initially signed for this role.

Rani Mukherjee had a complete makeover for the role. Her new look was also widely noted.

Chalte Chalte grossed 30.15 crore in India and $2.81 million in other countries, for a worldwide total of 43.28 crore.

A good movie for all the 'just married ' couples.

The message was good. Every couple in marriage go through ups and downs.No one is perfect. Husband and wife should accept each others flaws and try to make their marriage work instead of breaking it without trying.

Nowadays people break their marriages for silliest reasons. They should watch this movie.

Ah, such a beautiful film. My favorite scene in the film was when SRK tries to get Rani married to the other guy and hes chanting mantras, and that slap from Rani was epic. 😆

Music was brilliant and layi vi na gayi song is pure gold. Dont know how many times I have cried. 😆 Sukhwinder Singh's voice is magic. 😆

Forgot to say,all the songs of the movie were melodious.My favorite songs are Tauba tumhare yeh ishare and the title song.

Both srk and rani's performances were outstanding.

Love the movie for the songs more than anything else. Simply magic! Also that scene when SRK jumps into the water to retrieve Rani's coin to assure her that her wish would come true. Such a sweet scene that was!
