TVLine has learned that showrunner Jeremy Carver will step down at the conclusion of the current 11th season to focus on his new CW thriller Frequency, which earlier this week was ordered to series. He will be succeeded by the new co-showrunning team of 'Andrew Dabb' and 'Robert Singer'.

Singer has been with Supernatural since Season 1 as an exec producer, director and occasional writer. Dabb joined the series in Season 4, working his way up from writer/story editor to co-executive producer. Carver, meanwhile, began as a script writer on Supernatural in Season 3. He left following Season 5 to work on Syfy's Being Human, only to return in Season 8 as showrunner.

Thank you Carver 🤗🤗🤗 Never ever return and may your new show and its fabulous concept that u stole from your own story that u wrote for SPN a decade back sells good and continues for hundred of years . All my blessings are with u. 🤗

And I love how Singer came running back to run the show. He is like I took one break and u morons ruined everything 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I like Dabb and what he writes. He does blunders too so he is no perfect gem but Carver was my perfect gem and I regret that thought till date so I'll take this imperfect person who wrote red meat and revived how wonderfully codependent the brothers are. I mind nuthn anymore. I also hope he stops giving the duo crucial episodes to write but thats unlikely to happen. Damn if every wish was answered life would be perfect.

Goodness, you're so ecstatic. 🤣 *teri yeh khushi ko kisi ki nazar na lage* I'm glad Singer is back to run the show. Someone from the old gold team means good news. Dabb should do that, why not? Writers should get to write the episodes they're capable of writing. Your wish of getting rid of Carver got full-filled, you never know, this one might just get full-filled too. 😆

Lastly, the youngest-skewing broadcast net, the CW, sees a 29% lift in the currency with its veteran strip "Supernatural," which posts a 0.7 live-same-day rating and a 0.9 in C3.

Not surprisingly, lower-rated shows tend to experience very little, if any, improvement in C3, as failure to make any kind of impression with a live audience almost always translates into a general disinterest in catching up on other platforms. For example, ABC's canceled Sunday night drama "Blood & Oil" saw no discernible lift between live-same-day and C3, nor did Fox's newly-axed "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life."

The outlier remains Fox's "Scream Queens," which to a great extent earned its renewal on the strength of the commercial impressions it delivered in playback.

The currency against which the vast majority of TV ad transactions are made, C3 blends a very rough estimate of average commercial ratings with three days of time-shifted viewing; as such, it offers networks, buyers and marketers the best approximation of actual ad deliveries. Or, to put it more plainly, C3 (and increasingly C7) are quite literally the only relevant ratings data.

The networks do not release the currency data to the public, and if they had their druthers, they would prefer that no one outside the transactional nexus get a glimpse of the numbers. (But as Mick sagely observed so long ago, you can't always get what you want.) Accept no substitutes; as much as broadcasters like to muddy the waters with stats-padding live-plus-three-day and live-seven numbers that omit commercial deliveries altogether, the only ratings that matter to advertisers are C3/C7.

Since advertisers only care about C3 ratings and SPN has the highest ratings in that category which means SPN brings the largest amount of money to the channel, which now makes sense to me as to why J2 are the highest paid actor on the network. CW will do everything in its power to keep J2 signing the contract every freaking year. Kala teeka all over this glorious life. 😆

Lol I was dying for this to get confirmed. 😆 Especially after God is hiding part. 😆

Dabb can't do it. Because Singer is back. One part of the duo is Singer's wife. The only reason I hoped she will be kicked or leave on her own is because Singer took a break ... All my hopes are gone now 😆 We are stuck with the duo and their mass murder tactics.
