First of all I completely agree with Jodhu and Mario's comments. 👏. They've described and expressed what I could never do. So a big thanks to them also 👏

Now coming to my personal views...

Tessa do you have a magical wand or what? Or some magical powers in your hand? Cause sweetie your words, your stories, straight away touches my heart. ❤️

This OS reminded me of a real life incident. I was around 10 or 11 years old. There was this girl from the area where we used to stay. She was my age. We used to play together with lots of other friends every evening. One day we played together.

Next day we heard that she's had fallen sick. Second day we heard that she's no more. Imagine our shock.

Her mother become like a statue. For years she didn't come out of her house. She had a younger son also, but she stopped paying attention to him also. She had shut the whole world, her whole family out.
It took her several years to start leaving again. But one could still see a sadness in her eyes.

So I can only understand Aarti's condition in this OS.

What I feel is that when one can't come to terms to a tragedy, one tends to put the blame on their loved ones. Here Aarti blamed Yash, but I feel that deep down she knew that he was not responsible for the accident. She just needed to put the blame on someone so that she can go in a shell and mourn for her son in her own way.

As I was reading it, I thought that the only thing that can bring her out of this tragedy is when she will get another shock of losing her another dear one, in this case Yash. Like Mario said that the fear of losing the only loved one left in her life is what brought her out of it and face the reality that some thugs are not in our control and we should accept them and try to move ahead in life, no matter how hard it becomes for us.

Finally they were able to grieve the loss of their son together. Now they can leave the past behind and move forward in life with the memories of their beloved son.

I can't thank you enough for this heart touching story.

This is all I can do for you. ❤️ 🤗

The os empress is finally back after a maddening absence ofcourse i agree bcoz of exams.but the last thing i wud hav expected was such an emotional os as her come back.
I dont where to begin n where to finish commenting abt this os as I am too lost in the pain this has induced in me.

i feel this os is way above all ur other os'es in terms of its realistic approach that is impactful enough to let the painful essence of this masterpiece in the readers' hearts for a longer while.
I am too happy that aarya have got their way back to each other.poor yash that it was almost going to cost him his life to seek his wife s forgiveness.
well abt aarti it was natural as a human, on her part to be hurt by her husband's carelessness that caused their son's demise but it wasnt completely fair on her part regarding her attitude post ansh s death at yash for there is some force beyond the human s capability-fate n destiny.
if this is how fate has planned to play then we,its puppets cant do anythng except to follow its lead.
evn i am in search of somethng that cud be my healing place for i am too emotionally drained.the pain still persists.

On the whole...beautiful n sooo touching n realistic.

Your ending is quite right. No parent can ever completely get over the loss of a child. It was perfectly natural for Aarti to want to blame Yash. It wasn't a big decision at the time but it caused the biggest impact in their lives. And after thinking she had confirmed her husband and son's safety she herself came upon her son's lifeless body. She lived every mother's nightmare.
Sadly she could not even reach out to him. She cut herself off from him and rest of the world completely. This did neither of them any good. As she said in the end, it was no one's fault. Such things are God ordained. And all you can do is hold onto your faith and lean on those you love and who loves you. But she could not do that at the time. She blamed him and felt a measure of guilt herself and I suppose to dull the pain, she checked out of life completely.

The only thing that brought her out of her state of despair was the threat of losing the only love that she had left. She finally came back to life. She reached out to him. She cried with him. Finally they could comfort each other instead of him reaching out to her only. She gave him the love and happiness that he had been longing for. She touched him again. He didn't even want to let of her hand, he was that starved for her touch. And their lovemaking was so much more than physical, it was an outpouring of love, trust, forgiveness and yes, healing.

Heart wrenching but beautiful. As always ⭐️

Tessa welcome back and thank you for the heart wrenching, painful and emotional OS. As usual it was beautifully written. My heart went out to both of them for their child and their relationship. I was happy to see that they found their way back to each other. Loved it.

Losing a child has got to be one of the most painful, heartbreaking think in the world. It does tend to break a couple, understandably so. The way you capture his guilt and their loss, through the silent and distance. Or the pain that were treatning to draw them. That was painful to read. Another good one 👏. Although I much prefer a less sad fiction cause real life hurt a lot sometimes.
