Hi everyone! I was mulling over whether I should create a post today or not and decided in the end that I couldn't possibly let the opportunity to praise Erica for her performance go by. She absolutely smashed it! 👏 It was probably her best performance so far on the show - I could feel her pain and heartbreak from start to finish. With today's episode, she has pretty much let everyone know that she is the perfect person to play Sona through and through. She OWNED it. With Sona, any girl who has ever fallen in love and experienced one sided love, can relate to her inner turmoil. Yes, her performance was that impactful!

Today, we found a Sona that let those walls of strength she had built around her, break down. Dev Dixit has no idea what he has done by putting a ring on her finger It's that one moment that women dream of and for Sona to have experienced that with a man who she believes feels nothing for her and is on the verge of being someone else's, is just plain cruel and unfortunate. That exasperation and hurt was wonderfully shown by Erica, as she tugged at the very finger he put the ring on. Such was her frustration and heartbreak, that she continued to imagine that ring on her finger back in her house. After all, the feeling and memory of what she just went through is something that she doesn't want to live with. It's the last thing she wanted. Like life playing a horrible joke on her. Her conversation with Elena was heart-wrenching. You could feel her sadness as she spoke of the incident. And that vulnerability that Erica conveys is so heart touching. She excels in these emotional scenes. I for one was completely moved by Sona's total breakdown. Her crying into the pillow and that anguish as she tucked onto it further for some sort of support. Class acting by Erica.

Dev and his natural care for Sona as he followed her into the kitchen to see if she was hurt was lovely, particularly when he blew onto her finger. Little does he know that he has hurt her somewhere else and that pain is something that is not so easy to take away. The signs are there that Dev feels love for Sona, as he turned around to look at her once again before he left. I just feel that my sympathy and allegiance lies with Sona now because she is going through torture. There is a massive gap between the two - Dev is in realisation phase and Sona is head over heels in love. Bridging that gap is somewhat necessary now. I hope Dev realises very soon he is in love because I feel it's completely unfair that Sona is having to experience this. Dev has a lot of making up to do and Sona thank God has made the wise decision to not attend work.

One of the hardest things for men to do is reveal their feelings. They keep it all inside and expressing themselves can be a problem. Seeing Dev beating around the bush and struggle to ask Neha of how love feels like therefore, was understandable. Throughout the day, he was deep in thoughts and distracted. Having his own sister in love is perfect because she is that source of knowledge from which he can comfortably gain that insight into the experience of being in love. Whilst I don't agree with how and why their sibling relationship is beginning to flourish once again, I am glad it is. I am happy that Dev seeks his sisters when he wants another perspective.

Finally as the episodes go by, Ishwari's insecurities are beginning to surface. Another wonderful performance by Surpriyaji too. Ishwari is struggling to stay positive in the build up to this engagement. She is looking far into the future now and Nikki's words, whilst reflecting the reality of life, were a sting to Ishwari. The expressions by Supriyaji as she tried to display that she was unaffected by having another woman steal her son away, were spot on. I especially liked the fact that this was shown as she folded away Dev's shirts. She even clung onto them towards the end. Having to put a stop to such small things that she takes pleasure in doing for her son will prove difficult for her.

Overall, this episode well and truly belonged to Erica Fernandes. Take a bow girl!

Hey! Hey! Hey!

I was waiting to read your post. I love them! Promise you'd make one daily?

Erica was simply excellent today. Literally! Her crying, pain were so intense! I could feel her pain all along.

Erica's best performance would be this one, surely, for me, atleast. She emoted SO well. The conversation with Elena was heart wrenching! Could we find someone mlre perfet to play Sona's role? A clear, big NO.

And next comes Supriya ji! Fabulous performance. The insecurity, her feigning she was okay with the marriage were all beautifully potrayed by Supriya ji.

Hats off to these two people for their performances, specially Erica!

My only question, why is Dev not abe to sense his mom's dislike towards this alliance?

I am telling you again, I am a fan of your reviews. So keep writing them daily!

Hey thank you! I will keep on trying to make a daily post :) Regarding Dev not figuring out that Ishwari is not happy, I sometimes wonder whether he tries to be frivolous about it knowing the way his Mum is? Also, he is not great at reading people and situations. When it comes to his personal life, Dev struggles.

There's nothing left for me to say, as you've nearly mulled all my heart out. Erica is the most fantastic actor on television right now! The emotional scenes yesterday were nailed to perfection.

I've made the right decision to finally watch a good show :)
