Read all the responses :) sorry, was at work and could not respond individually. Thanks for writing even if it is to disagree. Appreciate the opposite points of view and it brought to mind Wilde's saying, "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still." So each to our own :)
Tia, as always, I love reading what you have to say about Abhi and for a moment makes me want to take his side. 😊

Just read one of the recent posts. Yes, Abhi had an affair with Tannu before marriage but that is not what was wrong with his behavior, his allowing his girlfriend to cohabit in his house, carrying on with her initially even after marriage bespeaks of a very shaky moral character. As for him saving Pragya's mom, Pragya, her cat and dog, well, he is her husband and while his not so clean efforts (forced wedding with suresh, for instance) are applauded, his silly wife's energy expended on saving the man from his greedy family and avaricious girlfriend is seen as deplorable.
Also, no doubt he is a rockstar but that doesn't excuse him from lacking in sense and solid moral caliber. A man is judged not by how popular, how handsome or how big of a bank balance he carries, or how good of a rockstar he is, he is judged by his character and that is what the CVs have taken to the mire. Clean Abhi up, redeem him to his potential, is the futile request.

He's convinced because he trusted Tanu and Pragya. No, he doesn't need a stimulus. He's made his own decisions (even if they weren't good - which is subjective) in his life and career without any external agents goading him to action. But his choices are not approved by his family. His free will is not in keeping with the soap definition of "good man" so he needs to be beaten up and reformed!!

Abhi doesn't have to meet the soap definition of a "good man" but same token he doesn't need to be regarded as one either. He has faults and his faults can be paraded since he does not meet the soap standard. No rule that a hero has to be good, but if a hero is a villain (not Abhi), or a fool, or an imbecile, nothing wrong in calling a spade a spade.

Even after redemption ,I am only going to remember his stupid antics. Not very much of a man . Abhis character reminds me of a song.
"I need a hero. A man who is fresh from a fight!" Abhi, a hero ? LOL!!!!

Pragya on the other hand wants to be a heroine so much that she refuses to tell him the truth. Perhaps ,Madam wants the limelight! What is she ? Wife? Mother? Fool is the answer.

Greatest fool , actually being the CVs who have destroyed the show.

And lastly, there should not be any discussions of who is right or Wrong. They are all wrong.

Lastly ,TM, your post always fascinates me. And seeing that you have written ... I began to read. Yes I do respect your style and your most intelligent viewpoints. But fighting for this show , that has long ago, DIED, its just not worth it, because this show is no longer worthy for thinking viewers.

Thank you for the kind words :) lol, on the rhyme! You are so right, the CVs will not be delivering the typical hero here, not in a million years.
I totally ditto you on Pragya being a fool in chasing after some crazy notion of proving to Abhi Tannu's villainy and Aliya's gold digging habits. In real life, a wife would tell her husband and he would either believe her or not, this cat and mouse game or rather round and round the mulberry bush chase is nonsensical to say the least. The essence of the show is long gone but still hoping it just might pick up steam.
