Shiv was killed by Shashank, Moksh, Aseem and Mammaji. When Shiv came to know of their evil intentions, they killed him. Later Ekta brought in Shiv's aatma, who wanted to stay around his family to protect them. He revealed his true form to Samar, so that he could avenge his death. Now in all the other family chaos, Shiv's aatma is nowhere to be seen. Hope this helped.

Shiv's aatma is nowhere seeing coz he traped inside the bottle which one tantric did with some kind of pooja
