Yup even I find Rakesh Bedi to be odd in the show which is interesting coz Rakesh Bedi played the role of Dilruba in Shriman Shrimati. BGPH is sort-of reake of Shriman Shrimati and Rakesh played the homemaker husband;s role Aashif is playing now.
Also there was a show called Yes Boss where Aashif's character was boss of Rakesh's and his onscreen wife's character and flirted with his wife. So from playing same-age character, Rakesh Bedi have graduated to dads roles whereas Aashif is still playing lead roles. Guess staying fit have its own benefits
