Rishi is a much better character than Tannu.
Rishi was a happy go lucky guy who came to India with his parents and brother. He wanted to have fun and flirt with girls. Then he saw Tannu and fell in love..he thought he was getting engaged to her and was so happy. Even after a lot of hurdles he continued to love her and wanted to gain her love at any cost.
He cries when he sees her with someone else and he can't keep his eyes away when he's with her. He plots and plans to break her rishta and he makes fun of the dulhas with his brothers...he makes mistakes and regrets his decisions..he is stubborn but he can be convinced easily too..he loves with all his heart and he loves his family..he is bound to life to tannu and he is always positive and optimistic though he gets disheartened at times..
In short..he's real..he's like a normal regular person..
Tannu loves her family and loved Rishi since her childhood. He was her dream guy and she was sure that she would get married to him. But one email broke her family's heart and they were broken. They were just learning to cope when she lost her parents...she and ahaana fell into their chachi's trap. She agrees to everything because all chachi has to say is bauji and tannu will listen. Rishi's love, his perseverance, his commitment are all nothing in front of her bauji's promise. A promise that she didn't know about. A promise that her father asked of chacha and chachi. She's naive, she's trusting and at times really stupid. Some things that she believes are completely ridiculous. There is a limit to foolish belief and tannu is beyond that. Her name is a lie..her relationship is a lie..her very existence is a lie..
And is still going ahead with all the drama...doesn't she feel that pavan should at least know the truth of her identity? Is she okay with getting married as tanvi the daughter so some obscure people who are no more?
Why is Rishi as real as someone can be and why is Tannu the most superficial character ever?
