Defending Pulkit

After the telecast of yesterday's episode, I am shocked at the bashing that Pulkit is receiving. Just because he spoke against the male protagonist, he is considered to be selfish & not caring about his own family 😡
I have been of the opinion since the start of the serial that Pulkit though may come across as not proactive enough but he has always been the one in Sagar's life who has taught him right & wrong. Right from childhood when Sagar considered Gangaa as a toy, it was Pulkit who made him sensitive to the fact that Gangaa is also a human being like them & not a toy. He continued to make Sagar realise & make up for his callousness towards Gangaa through many cases in childhood.
I believe that apart from Sagar he has been the only one in the Chaturvedi family who has considered Gangaa to be his own family. He may not do tandav on Ammaji or Madhavi's head for Gangaa like Sagar but he has been her silent pillar of strength. We may not have been shown Gangaa's story since Sagar left for studies but I do believe that Madhvi & Ammaji might have tried to cast away or trouble Gangaa throughout these years & Pulkit & Niru's support was there for her.
I would like to say that though he is not a successful earner & has disappointed his father but I believe it to be more Niru's fault who has always discouraged him by doubting his attempts. I also feel that he is the one who we as a person would like to have in a crisis rather than Sagar for whom his own hurt is always greater than anybody else's pain. So I am Glad that he gave back to the family yesterday about their bias & discrimination.

Honestly speaking I have never understood Madhvi's actual feelings for Gangaa. Initially after the leap I thought that she did genuinely care for Gangaa except for her strong bonding with Sagar. However this illusion broke during the MMS scandal as I honestly felt that she would be a staunch supporter for Gangaa @ that point of time because of her care for Gangaa. But...what did we actually see 😕 She herself never tried to even believe in Gangaa just so that she could be out of Sagar's life 😕
Arrey the girl that u have raised & who u know has felings for ur son bcoz of which u are insecure, u will doubt her 😕 So I have no expectations from her. Its blasphemy to even keep any hope from Ammaji 😡 . She is the one character who is never going to regret any of her wrongdoings as she doesn't believe herself to be wrong 😕 🥱

and remember when niru explaind sagar ab out hitler???he said, tht he used to stick his opinions on other and in my (niru) opinion these kinda people should be behind the bars who want other person's life to go in their way...and what he always did with pullu, he always used to stick his own opinion and wishes on him

I agree with you that most of Madhvi's opinions are shaped by Ammaji's teachings. In fact during the early years she did try to advice Ammaji on what she thought was wrong. However her opinions were never given any importance & she was made to feel guilty by Ammaji . This lack of courage in her convictions is I think mostly because of lack of support from hubby Niru.
Niru who always fights for justice has never been able to stand against his Ammaji. Though he has tried token protest but he eventually bows down to Ammajis wishes. U know many people on the forum always think that Niru has done so much for Gangaa & played the role of a father in her life but I have always disagreed in this opinion.
The things for which he is credited are all achieved by Gangaa due to her own determiation & never give up attitude. Right from making a place for herself in the household to her education, it has been Gangaa all the way. Niru after initial protests against his mother's attitude towards gangaa's stay or her education has always stepped back. In fact Sagar & not Niru has always been a shield for Gangaa against Ammaji.
👏 . If it was left to Niru Gangaa would just be another uneducated widow living on the mercy of a rich noble family. He could have done so much for Gangaa if he had really accepted her as a daughter for of he had he would never have allowed Ammaji to make Gangaa follow widowhood 😡
Sorry it has became a Niru bashing post but his character's weakness has been glaring at me right from the initial episodes so I never felt any heartbreak when he didn't support SaGa. I have always expected that only from him .

I agree 100% with you👏 Did you see the look on Madhvi face when she looked at Pulkit?? It was hate for her son. She just found out that she was going to be a grandma and not a single emotion of happiness about the good new ( not even a smile) or was she worried about her DIL and unborn grand baby. I used to like her before the leap but now i dislike her for loving one child more then the other. Very well act by Gungun Uprari

Oh it was clearly shown from the starting episodes itself that Niru always bowed down before Ammaji, especially in case of Gangaa. The people that felt Niru Gangaa share a healthy father daughter relationship was because of Ganga's unconditional faith in him. Otherwise he really had no role except which Gangaa gave him.
Definitely the Gangaa Pulkit bond has been portrayed beautifully right from the start. Their relationship too had seen rocky days during Pulki's fake marksheet fiasco. However they eventually overcame it & their relationship continued to grow as layered as SaGa relationship. 👍🏼 😊
Also Pulkit has never showed any jealousy regarding extra attention given to Sagar. In fact he has always been his 'partner in crime'. He only started having problems with Sagar after he broke Ganga's heart & married jhanvi.So I definitely felt he was justified in his stand against his family yesterday. 😳
