He stopped in his tracks and stared at her, stunned speechless. Time stopped as he stood shocked facing her. He felt the blood drain out of his face.
"She is alive!!! "
A reluctant smile crept up to his face..
His only dream was standing in front of him.?
"Is it for real?
Omg, What if it is not?
What if Iam still drunk & this is me hallucinating her.
But it can't be..Iam in the police-station, Iam here for Adi.."
He sees her from top to bottom to reassure him that indeed she is real & alive.
And in that instant disbelief hits him in the face..
"She is alive all these years and she didn't inform me..
She didn't come back...She didn't come home..She didn't come to me..She abandoned me like all the others..."
Overwhelmed he moves out from there...before shock turns into indignation..
For someone who couldn't wait to run away yet again, She didn't hesitate to turn to him..She couldn't resist the pull of his voice,his voice about her..
& She kept gazing him with all the love pouring out through her eyes.. not knowing whether she is apologizing or absolving him of the blame or just making up for the lost time...
& when she realized that her son, the replica of the father is infront of her...
She was so eager to have a glimpse of him..
"How did he turn out?"
"Does he look like his father?"
& When she finally holds her son, The father couldn't put out his feelings.
The longing to see the mother cocooning his child, the dream of every father, which he thought he lost was unveiling before him.
... 5 mins was all they were given.
