With Fan and Raees' fate out, who will win Best Actor/

When this year started I absolutely had no idea who could win this years Best Actor award as many films seemed promising. But with almost half the year gone and seeing the outcome of Fan, the postponing of Raees and teasers of Sultan the race seems quite relaxed now as compared to when the year began. Though Fan was SRK's show all the way but the fact that film didnt enjoy public acceptance might pose a problem for SRK to get the popular award. Raess since its postponed to next year is already out of the race. Also after seeing Sultan's teaser I think it is no BB...it seems like an out and out masala movie. I feel though both SRK and Salman will land nomination in Best Actor category but might not get the award. So now we have in race Akki for Airlift, HR for MJ and Shahid for Rangoon/UP. Out of these the fate of the last three movies will decide who is the most deserving candidate for the trophy. Ranveer as of now looks out of the race this year seeing that Befikre looks quite commercial kind of movie with nothing substantial in terms of acting. Personally I have a strong feeling it will be HR or Akki since UP is a multi-starer and Rangoon has equally good parts for Kangana and Saif so Shahid might not be the only prominent character. What do you feel?

Shah rukh will win it, doesn't matter if th film didn't perform. His performance was superb.

It would be a shame if any other actor wins except Manoj Bajpai for Aligarh

Akki for Airlift. He was amazing in Airlift. anyways he is not going to win. it will be SK or SRK. and in other categories- HR or Sahid.

No, srk with Fan has a great chance of winning. Btw what award are you refering here, if its people's choice award then yes, he might lose out, other than that critics choice, filmfare etc etc he has a chance. I don't think bo performance will dent that winning chance.

My bet is on Shahid for Rangoon or Udta Punjab now

Akshay is close second for Rustom/Airlift and Hrithik too for MohenJodaro


Giving it to Fan will be unfair since many actors never got their due to poor performance of their films in past. And to be honest Shahid's performance looks to be more solid than what SRK had in Fan.


Don't mind Akshay winning and it will be nice Salman's done a decent job as Sultan. Awarding him will be nice as for once. Tho doubt it

No Ranveer, Sid, Varun has no chance

Irrfan or Nawaz may have something great but unsure of them winning even same applies for Randeep

Manoj Bajpai deserves it for Aligarh but won't win due to the fate of his film.
