First of all, today was a superb espiode as it had revealed so many emotions from both Raman and Ishita. They are complicated characters to themselves and to the audience, however for me a new light had been shed on both characters.
Raman was portrayed as a husband who was surprised and awed that his wife is alive and was happy with this very fact. Anyone could tell how much he love her and this was the real Raman. He was so surprised that he even drag Bala to confirm if they really saw Ishita đ
Now Ishita had defended Adi in front of Mani and despite that the fact she had emphasised that she love both Adi and Aliya - it's looked to me that she is more of a mother to Adi than Aliya. Since the very minute she heard that the accused boy is no other than her own darling and only son Aditya Bhalla - she changed sides and supported Adi even before hearing the full story from Aliya. thus even after so many years with Aliya, she could not replace Ishita's own child.
When Mani interfered with the mother and son moment. Raman's whole demeanor altered from a happy father to cold hearted and angry husband and father. He was quick to shield Adi from Mani. Both father and son stood united after Mani exited from the scene. This was the moment where Ishita had made a mistake because even though Raman couldn't meet her eyes, he subconsciously want to know if she will stand with them or say anything which she didn't. She ran after Mani and for Raman, I would imagine that he believed that she was unaffected or didn't care for them as she did for Mani which explained him being indifference in the precap. He is so angry that he didn't hesitate to hurt Ishita by reminding himself and her about Ruthi. I believe he thinked nothing had change since he misunderstood her intention of running after Mani.
Now, I can't help thinking that both Raman and Ishita love each other more than their family members a and children. Yes RKB had said hard words to Ishita which he probably said in anger. But the moment Ishita was dead in his mind - he changed and couldn't be a proper father or son. He need Ishita like an oxygen so that he can become like his usual self. The minute he saw her - we saw brief glimpses of the old RKB coming back. Same goes for Ishita - yes she love her kids yet she abandoned them due to her husband's harsh words. I still couldn't comprehend why and how she can leave her kids until I realise that she love her husband above them that from the moment he had insulted her - he broke her and she couldn't bear his hate that she left.
However when she heard him yesterday speaking affectionly about his wife unknowingly - she couldn't resist but turn around and yearn to see her husband who she once knew loved her. The old Ishita came back like a lioness and defended her son from Mani.
Big applause to KP and DT for acting superbly and bringing our beloved couple Ishra alive. Ishra are unique couple who have been through a lot and yet the still continue to burn our screens with their intense and heartbreaking chemistry and love for each other. I am loving the new montage and is hoping to see more storylines focusing on Ishra as a couple đ
