They can also help a celeb create a personna which will click with the public (Deepika or Jennifer Aniston as the scorned women won big like this). They also review the questions asked before an interview and have a say before an interview is published (it happens that celebs slip up or say things they shouldn't have)

Help a celeb manage a scandal (Kangna and Hrithik's PR are I supposed working very hard because of their scandal to prevent their client's image to suffer too much)

With Internet, PR is more and more necessary for celebs as the public is very aware of their personnal and celebs want to appear as being "normal people" to be closer to the public when there was a time a celeb could be a serial cheater, married multiple times or having affairs with married people and the public didn't care or though celebs were on another planet all together. They made people dream.
