Kamini was under the illusion that because she is more sophisticated and educated than Dhani, she could easily lure Viplav from Dhani completely underestimating what Dhani means to Viplav and their loving bond. Now that she is beginning to realise that her allure is not yeilding any result, she feels Viplav slipping away from her no matter how hard she is trying in her pursuit, her ego self can't accept this defeat easily, hence stooping so low with this pathetic scheme that she won't be able to redeem herself when the truth is revealed! For such delusional person, one can only feel pity.
