This is such a random shot but the current track is rather entertaining so I thought I'd write something on it. Hope you guys like it. 😆

The sounds of music, and voices of women singing, filled the air as girls ran, giggling, in different directions holding platters of flowers and decorations. After all, Yuvraj was her only son and Anita was going to leave no stone unturned in making sure that the celebrations of his wedding lived up to the prestigious Luthra name.
Twinkle was sat in the middle, pursuing her role of the shy bride, as the two ladies besides her continued the exquisite design of mehendi on both her hands. Glancing up, her eyes met the gaze of the love of her life. Kunj signals that she looks beautiful in her attire and our bride can't help the blushing which adorns her cheeks in response. He blows her a flying kiss and she lets out a giggle because she wasn't the sole witness to this declaration of his love.
"Oyy Kunj, yun hawa mein muh kyun phula raha hai bhai? Kisi machli ne khat vhat toh nahin diya?" Came Cherry's voice from behind.
Kunj closes his eyes at his cousin's extremely bad sense of timing... "Cherry bhaiya, kuthe ne khat liya ya phir billi ne khat liya suna hai, lekin yeh machli ne khat liya aaj pehli baar sun raha hoon"
"Yeh aaj kal ke college bilkul good for nothing hai, koi baat nahin yaar, mere saath rehke tu jaldi sab kuch seekh jayega" Cherry gloated.
"Phir toh maine ab tak zindagi mein joh bhi seekha hai voh bhi bhool jaunga" Kunj muttered to himself.
"Kuch kaha tune?"
"Nahin, kuch bhi toh nahin" Kunj replied. He instructed Cherry to go and check on the food arrangements before directing his attention back to requirements of their plan.
Twinkle laughed at the aftermath of Kunj's interaction with Cherry. She could tell from the frustration on his face that the conversation was one that they would definitely laugh about later on. She was brought back to the present by the question of whose name was to be written on her hands. Determined in her motive to ruin Yuvi, she smiled to herself as his name left her mouth.

"Saasu mommm...!" Twinkle whined for the fourth time in a row now. Watching Anita make her way towards her, she continued, her puppy eyes coming into play... "Kya saasu mom, aap ko toh apni bahu ki fikaar hi nahin hai, kitni der se yaha behti hoon aur kisi ne abhi tak paani ke liye bhi nahin poocha. Mere liye paani le aye na"
"What nonsense Twinkle, main tumhe waitress dikhti hoon?"
"Hawww saasu mom, dheere boliye varna log kahenge ki saas ne bahu ko paani dene se manna kar diya, phir ghar ke bahaar log kare ho jayege, phir protest karenge, phir police ko bulana padega, aur phir..."
"OK FINE! Laa rahi hoon paani" Anita let out, frustrated at Twinkle's drama.
Having made Twinkle drink the water, Anita was about to leave when... "Saasu mommm!" Letting out an exasperated groan, Anita turned to face a smiling Twinkle.
"Saasu mom, please aap mere shoulders ko massage kar dijiye. Subah se bohot dukh raha hai" Twinkle complained trying to contain her laughter as Anita's face dropped. She was about to refuse when Twinkle reminded her about what people would say and how there would be backlash for not meeting your daughter-in-laws needs. Giving up, Anita stood behind Twinkle and began to gently massage her shoulders, wishing that she could strangle her neck instead.
"Dheere se saasu mom, kahin gala vala daba diya toh domestic violence ka case aur bhi strong ho jayega" Twinkle smirked. Once the shoulder massage was over, Anita turned to leave once more when... "Saasu mommm!"
"Ab kya hai?!" Anita shouted at her.
The crocodile tears began to form as Twinkle cried dramatically. "Haww saasu mom, aap mujh par chilla rahi hai, ek toh mere haathon mein mehendi lagi hui hai, main kudh kuch kar bhi nahin sakthi aur aap mujh par gussa ho rahi hai..." She continued to wail.
"Ok fine, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please rona bandh karo" Anita tried to console her, frantically looking around in case people were looking.
"Please mere sandals uthar dijiye, yeh heels kitne uncomfortable hai" Twinkle hiccupped as she stretched out her feet. Anita clenched her teeth, bending down, she began to unstrap Twinkle's footwear. "Aur mere pher bhi thoda massage kar dijiye nah, bohot dard ho raha hai" Twinkle quickly added, continuing to fake her hiccups.
"What?" Anita exclaimed.
"Arreh saasu mom, yeh toh sochiye ki..." Twinkle started to say.
"Haan patha hai mujhe! Ki... log kya sochenge, ki main tumhara khayal nahin rakhti..." Anita spat out, kneeling down in front of Twinkle whilst Twinkle tried her best to supress her giggles as Anita began to move her hands up and down her lower legs, massaging them.
On the other side of the pillar, Kunj was thoroughly enjoying this pantomime starring his Drama Queen. Bebe, Usha and Leela also giggled besides him, praising Twinkle for her antics and showing Anita her status.
The moment is ruined with Yuvi's entry. Seeing his mother on her knees massaging Twinkle's feet makes his blood boil. "What the hell is going on here?" He shouts causing Twinkle to acknowledge his existence.
"Arreh, chilla kyun rahe ho Yuvi, dikh nahin raha tumhe? Meri saasu mom mujhe foot massage de rahi hai" Twinkle replied casually. "Anyway, voh sab choro aur meri mehendi mein tumhara naam dundh ke dikhao" She said, excitedly putting her hands out towards him.
Taken aback by Twinkle's statement, Yuvi forgets his mother and takes up the challenge of finding his name in her mehendi. Five minutes in and Twinkle was getting bored of waiting.
"Kaise pati ho tum Yuvraj? Ek naam tak dundh nahin paye" She pseudo sulked. "Mera Kunj hota toh yun jat se apna naam dundh leta" She said with pride.
"Tumne pukara aur hum chale aye" Kunj sang as he made his way to Twinkle, carefully taking her hand, he pulled her up. Anita joined Yuvi on the side, annoyed as how she had gone from a waitress to masseuse in the last half an hour.
"Vaise mera naam toh tere dil pe likha hua hai, lekin duniya valo ke liye aaj teri mehendi mein hi apna naam dundh ke dikhata hoon" Kunj said, softly tracing the designs of her henna. It didn't take him long to find the letters of his name so beautifully carved into the patterns on her hand. He lifted her palm to his lips, placing a soft peck where his name was printed... "Mil gaya."
Twinkle gleamed, embracing Kunj as her happiness took over. Pulling back from her husband, she turned to Yuvi and Anita.
"Dekha, maine kaha tha naa ki mera Kunj dundh lega aur usne dundh liya" She told them with pride. Yuvi fisted his hands before storming out of there followed by his mother close behind.
Bebe, Usha and Leela joined the duo almost immediately, laughing to their hearts content.
"Arreh kitna bewakoof hai, jab naam likha hi nahin hai toh dundh tha kaise?" Bebe taunted as they all burst into laughter once again.
The fun had only just started.
