Mishal Raheja - old IV - A girl's looks do matter to me

That's the case in reel life. We asked the actor, whether he would marry a dark girl in real life too? The actor surprised us with his reply.

He says, "It's a bad thing to profile people on the basis of their colour. However, I'll be lying if I say that I don't want a fair girl. Honestly speaking, a girl's looks do matter to me. Deep in their hearts most guys prefer the fairer skin. I give 50 per cent consideration to looks, and the rest boils down to the nature."

So, has Mr.Raheja found his 50:50 girl?

"No, I haven't. I was in a relationship that lasted for four years. Unfortunately, things didn't click between us. I got too busy with my work. She tried to give our relationship another chance, but I wasn't prepared for it. I'm a mamma's boy and a little demanding by nature. I'm 27 now. I don't see myself getting married for at least 4-5 years. I want to give all the happiness in the world to my parents," replied our Duttabhau.

Well, perhaps Raheja's not-so-fair fans must be heartbroken now.

After girls, it's over to guns now. The actor is fond of dark films such as Donnie Brasco, God Father and Sarkar. Al Pacino, Robert de Niro, Johnny Depp and Amitabh Bachchan are his favourite actors.

"The best thing about such films is that the characters tend to speak more with their eyes than with words. Though Duttabhai is a Maharastrian don, he has drawn inspiration from the great reel life dons. As an actor, you put in 40 per cent originally to your character. The rest is derived by following mannerism of other great characters of the past," said Raheja.

Despite its underworld background, Laagi Tujhse Lagan has found favour with the viewers.

Raheja sighs, "I'm pleasantly surprised to see that the people have taken to this show. It's always the woman who pays the protagonist in a TV show. I didn't want to do typical saas-bahu sagas. It feels really nice that your work is appreciated."

thanks sura
I've read this before
. I like the fact that he was frank enough to say what he looks for in a girl. When he was 27 at the time of the interview he wanted to stay single for another 4-5 years . Well that time is almost up so do we see looking for a life partner after this?
He's a mamma's boy too. Mummy might choose for him?!
However this IV was along time back so his values& ideas must have changed. Want to know what an older and perhaps wiser Mishal thinks now.

😳😳 i have already read these IVs one lakh times but everytime i read them again , i enjoy 😳😳
i had heard mishal saying that rajnikanth, AB and kamal are his fav actors...

these laagi times IVs, i love the most...he used to give too many IVs to the sbs, e24 and other channels also...i dont know why these people dont cover episodes of IKRS these days..may be sbs, sbb and E24 people give more importance to the high TRP shows...thats why they used to cover laagi and we used to get LTL segments every week but this damn trp thing is horrible...
these people should cover IKRS too...but no we get ishq segments once in 2-3 months😡😡
anyways thanks sura for sharing and reminding me of some of the sweetest and unforgettable memories😳😳

during love story days when he was 23-24, he had said that he will never agree for arranged marriage..he will first fall in love and then marry but if his mom arranges his marriage with katrina, then he only he will agree else a big NO to arrange marriages...😆😆
i have that IV..if i get time , i will share with you people😊

I'm not saying that Mishal will follow his mother's choice. Most unlikely as he seems to have a mind of his own but there is a lot transformation which comes about when a 24 year old matures into a 32 year old . His experiences in the interim period shape and change his thoughts. It's the same with all of us. What we perceived to be ideal when we are young may no longer hold true for us as we age
I feel when Mishal marries it will be because he( and not his mom) has found a person whom he thinks he can settle down with.

I also thought of not doing it...but I was so disappointed that I had to!!

What's d point of be being educated if one starts judging someone on d basis of colour...

This is something one is born with...we should embrace it nd thank god for making us the way we r...
Nd not get bothered by such narrow minded thoughts
