I think the writer think about that, but this is an old script.When they signup Amit for this soap,they don't know that Chait character will be famous that much,so maybe that time they decide to replace him, but now everyone want to see Amit as a Chait, and Amit know too that how much people like him.
So according to my opinion Amit will come back as a Chait with memory loss or blindness.

Yeah, he will loose his memory or go blind. But I also think if in the meantime Amit is offered a role in another serial, he might quit. This happens in lot of shows. Actor who played the role of new Veer is playing an important role in Ardhangini.

You know, Amit is doing a leading role in DSK, and it is not only a loving boy. In DSK he is performing a lot of different roles, and due to DSK he is famous. Viewers saw how much he has talent due to DSK. I don't think some other soaps offer him better than this soap, except if he get some offer for the film, otherwise he won't leave DSK.
