I was a sona fan before seeing saawariya but I thought she was average in the movie and I really didnt like her in it. The best newcomer award should go to someone who ppl have actually liked..it shouldnt be given to someone just coz they worked hard or coz her dad is anil kapoor 😆 😆 or coz the director was bhansali 😆

i didnt like deepika before but she rocked in OSO..
she loooked gorgeous in every frame...
and acted really well too
and we got to see her in more than just 'blue' 😆

but i think deepika has higher chances of getting an award for the most glamorous. I hope she bags them both tho that'l be great😃

U know thats exactly happened with me!! I was soo tired of deepika bashing, but she proved her haters wrong about her! and then i converted to a deepika fan from a sonam fan! for me deepika did her role with so much ease ( i dont care about the role but she did full justification to it..) 😳 while sonam was trying too hard!! no offence..

Deepika is sweet, beautiful, has a charmastic smile!! Everytime i see her smiling, i cant take my eyes away from it!! she is just the next superstar.. 😛

If not the best new comer then she surely deserves "the star of 2007" award!! and i m sure she will definitely grab one of the award! i m hopeful 😳

why fight guys.. THERE ARE ENOUGH AWARD FUNCTIONS IN BOLLLYWOOD.. BOTH SONAM and DEEPS will get awards.. one function will award sona.. other deeps.. then one sona. then deeps.. aren't there lots of award functions like: filmfare.. stardust.. screen award.. zee awards.. and lot more... both did great job..

Yup I also think both will win different awards! that would be the best becoz both has worked hard for their debut roles 😛

i agree its gnna be the same for best actress with vidya, kareena and rani.

All these awards are power games. Deepika and Sonam, both will get awards. It doesn't matter how they were in the film.
