Kabir Khan to cast Chinese actors in his next on Indo-Pak relations

Mukesh ChhabraBollywood's leading Casting Director Mukesh Chhabra is on a search for a Chinese male female actors and child artists for the first ever movie based on Indo-China relationship under the direction of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' fame director Kabir khan.
"The lead female character opposite Salman Khan is yet to be decided. Other actors will be from both India and China," he told TOI at the side-lines of the ongoing Raipur International Film festival (RIFF) being held in Chhattisgarh.
Speaking about his debut direction, under the production of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, famous casting director said, "Yes it is my debut as well as of Sakshi Khanna, son of Vinod Khanna. I have started direction because I always wanted to learn the entire process of filmmaking; whether it is direction, scripting, editing and of course, Casting. I wish to learn every main part of filmmaking, but it doesn't mean I will quit casting. Casting is my passion and I can't live without it," he added.
Elaborating the process of casting, he said, "I prefer the demand of script; later, the background is very important. As in 'Gangs of Wassepur', I tried to cast most of the characters from Bihar to put genuine impact to the script."
"In 'Chillar Party', the boy I chose was the one I had once met at a traffic signal and I chased him for six days and took many screen-tests to make him give his best in the role. Similarly, Sushant Singh Rajput met me at a street-side tea-stall, and I asked him for a screen test and now, he has become a hero in Bollywood. "So, wherever I go, lot of scripts keep rolling in my mind and simultaneously, I keep searching the perfect person to cast in any role," he added.
Starting his casting career with 'Chintuji', Mukesh has done casting for more than 120 films with all the prominent directors of Bollywood. He has 20 new projects in the pipleline, including Aamir Khan's 'Dangal', and sanjay Dutt biopic. "Right now, I am working on many projects as well as my training workshop, which I do three times a year in different parts of India".
Talking about casting couch, he said "I was scared of going to Mumbai. Even my mother was concerned about how I would manage in Mumbai; but honestly, Mumbai is a place which allows you to survive only if you know your job well. Just be ready to do hard work and learn something new every day; you will surely become successful. Everything else is just perception," he added.
