Hmmm, a delicious separation :) might even give Sumo the over-the-edge push she needs

Count me in as having mixed feelings
Giving you company as being a sore thumb 😆

I understand Shravan wanting to help with the case and not liking verma's behaviour but the way they are showing him right now..as if all his anger and heart break of so many years didn't matter..feels surreal and takes away from the story

Nice thought..
Would love to see that..
But I guess log CVs ko Mar denge. ..If they don't get Shraman in one frame in any episode...
But 2 din mei nipta sakte hai..If they plan to go this way...

Absolutely agree...this could just be for like 2-3 episodes...at the max...1 week! Separations don't always have to be based on misunderstandings.

Doc, Sammy and ttt1 have spelled out the reservations I have had since their first major normal conversation (their dinner together in Sumo's room). What we have seen and understood about Shravan even from his childhood days onwards was his extreme introvert quality. He was not willing to lay bare his heart in front of his friend (even though he had written a love-letter to Sumo.. it was never meant to be a face to face conversation).
During these few interactions that they have had together only one I felt was coming straight from his heart... his thank you to Sumo for having let him inside the core of her being. In yesterday's episode, the court room was badly executed, the dresses were funny and to top it all, I felt Verma's arguments were far more logical and sound than Shravan's (bad direction on the part of CVs). Chalo, we can forgive them. I loved Shravan's entry outside the court and his interactions but did notice when he held Suman's hand for the second time that he was emotionally disconnected with her. When moving out from the farmhouse, I thought it was too uncharacteristic on the part of Shravan to make a joke on farmhouse and that line (tumhe apni chinta ho no, mujhe to hai) was totally out of place.
I guess even if he has no ulterior motive he is doing or rather performing his role of family lawyer to perfection. He has been able to distance himself from his essential emotion or the core of his personality that of loving Sumo. Sumo, on the other hand, is moving or rather tilting towards the other end of the scale.
I wrote in another post of mine that when he visited Sumo's paternal home he was strictly an investigative lawyer. He was neither a friend and definitely not a lover. And as time moves on, Sumo will start to realize her feelings for Shravan, we will get the shock of our lives. He is helping her I believe not out of any malicious intention but definitely not out of love. There were 3 instances when Shravan, the boy who loved Sumo was present... the thank you was heartfelt, his clutching hands of Nanaji and Sumo and telling her Aaj kuch mat bolna and when he again a gave a not so subtle warning to Verma to stay out of Sumo's life. Otherwise, he is doing it because he feels responsible for both Nanu and Sumo.
But, I have seen about these makers that they never insert a scene without a reason. We had all thought the house maintenance was a blooper on the part of CVs but they did mention our reservations about the same from none other than our lawyer. So, I guess Sumo will learn about Shravan's exact feelings as no more stemming from love, friendship but stemming from a sense of duty. I guess she would want to repay for his services as a lawyer by trying to pay his fees. Wonder if she will manage to do that or some other problem might come up. One which will throw them together for life😉
Forgive me, my feelings are all over the place
But, yeah I did think in yesterday's episode, Shravan outside the court was looking like a dream🤗
Forgive me for this long post.

The court room scene was executed so badly
didnt like it at all...
n why shravan was giving all smirks n smile throughout...we know that he's the hero but samne wala bhi toh para-likha lawyer hai 🤡
dialogues toh usse bhi bekar...!!
Yes some of their scenes seems too RUSHED..
but i am still loving their scenes..its a bliss

Hey :-)
Absolutely agree
The thank.you ,the impulsive support these are natural reaction s when you see some one you love in pain
Blthe characterization of Sravan so far is someone who is so hurt by a lot.of incidents in the past ,he stays away from relations deliberately ...even his dad was not able to hold him back (had his dad been in a problem he would have stayed back ,that impulsive and not calculative )
Here the whole conflict is betweeebt his calculative self (some one he wants to be) and his caring self (some one he is )

But past build up was missing in the story yesterday ,they are too comfortable , in my opinion alll along CVS were trying to say childhood hurt us difficult. To let.go ...whihx is why I feel there is more to this although. I don't feel Sravan is acting
I think he will win the case and leave to UK with the same calmth
Leaving suman heart.broken since she would have fallen for him by then

But in telly world, storm is unavoidable... it will come, possibly when the two are firmly attached to one another emotionally...

Exactly.
That's a possibility
Sumo.falls for Sravan ,for.Sravan there is no reason to be rude ,but no reason to stay back as well after the case
Y
The thank you sceen although he said a thank you ,he restrained from holiding her hand ,the practical self is still there ,the lack if trust can convert into.total trust in a day ,the trixk here is how they build up the story ,that's gone the story is beyond comprehension ,lets see how they treat it here after
I think she will fall.for him ,he will leave after the case ,or some

I can see a possible story line for an arranged marriage. Since it is too early in the show very difficult to predict the next path - but still...

The below is one possibility -
Ramnath comes back
Happy Shravan is still around
Comes to know that he stayed back for Nanaji's house
Case goes on - either Shravan wins it or Khosla drops the case
Shravan was doing only his duty till now - so decides to leave
Suman is heart broken but does not tell him anything.
She tries to repay his 3Lakhs plus the lawyer charges
He gets offended.
Though he plans to go back he expects her to ask him to stay back. He wants to feel WANTED 😆
He is also heart broken
Ramnath again tries to stop his son from going back
Finally has a heart to heart with Nana and together they decide a marriage with Suman is the best
Both object to the wedding - though very happy in their minds
Nanaji suddenly takes ill - heart attack
Takes promise from Shravan that he will never leave Suman
Properly married now (for the sake of Nanaji) but showing hatred to each other

Hey Dyotona,

Brilliant post.😊 I agree with all your points.

But I am okay with the pacing of the episode. Here is my take on the recent ShraMan development:

Maybe it's just me but I feel like Shravan wants to sort out his feelings for Sumo, let go of his grudge against her and move on. He genuinely wants to be friends. That is why he didn't properly hug her in that scene where she is crying. He comforts her as a friend and not a lover. He seems to be drawing a line in the sand. He wants to be friends and that's it.

For 10 years, he hasn't been able to forget Sumo. He has been so angry. Nothing he does can erase her from his mind. So, he is making peace with her so when he returns to London, he does so with a clean slate. If Shravan treats her as his friend, he will not wish for her romantically, or so he believes. The only way to move on from Suman is to make peace with her.

I know its a depressing thought. But when I put myself in Shravan's shoes, this is how I feel.

Thing is that Sumo is falling for Shravan. But Shravan is 100% planning to go back to London. Without a wife in tow

I don't know if I am making any sense.😕 What I am trying to say is that Shravan is being friendly with her, and not necessarily romantic. So that he can go back to London with ease.

Shravan understands Sumo a lot now. But he is still heartbroken about their past. He has genuinely become friends with Sumo, thus his protective and comfortable behavior with her. He won't let himself get romantically involved with her though. Not easily. Holding her hand casually, joking around and all that is a way of maintaining an easy friendship without awkwardness so that he can keep romantic thoughts at bay.

I did like the episode.😊 I like the comfortable bond that they have slipped into. What I am afraid of is the future. I sense heartbreak.

PS: As usual I love the chachi-Vandy-Shravan scene😆
