WARNING: This post is going make fun of the episode mercilessly (well pretty badly, I would go as far as I saying mercilessly). Because I was severely disappointed with this episode. Watch the episode at your own risk and read this at your own peril.
The show used to be cute and fun and well engaging. Now its like leave your brains at the door kind of cute and fun.
Get off the plane and what do you do? You say that you feel your dead sister's presence around you. I' sorry. I've been in the same small apartment as my brother and been clueless that he was there. I guess I don't love the jerk as much as I should?!
Twinkle goes to the temple to pray to ganapathi bappa (Brain : seriously?! you are a sikh. There are probably hundreds if not thousands of gurdwaras in Mumbai. Heart: Minor details baby doll minor details).
There she crosses path with Mahi/Devika. But doesn't see her. I feel like Mahi was just taunting her like "YO sis! Open your eyes and look! Here I am am!"
But alas, opportunity lost. Which leads me to believe that Twinkle and Kunj may have some peripheral blindness issues. After they back to Amritsar they should really get checked out.
And oh yeah while am i ranting about this scene. CVS.. the fans of this show know Sidhant's um... physique really well. If you are going to have a body double for him please make sure its convincing. I winced a little because the body double was not the right height or stature or even hair style! Once again minor details baby doll.
So Mahi and Twinkle cross paths. Sigh. Mani literally bumps into KUnj like Yo Jiju here I am. Kunj looks away. Sigh.
The whole scene comes to an end with Twinkle seeming like a deranged person. (Wasn't the whole point of this trip to relax?)
Next we come to a restaurant where Twinj are having a meal, and Yuvi is freaking two tables away! And they don't see him. They guy isn't even behind any pillar or anything. He is sitting there sipping his coffee and Twinj see nothing. Again those peripheral blindness issues that need to be checked out!
Kunj wants to go and attend this party that is being thrown by Devika Khanna who wants to marry an Indian Munda, because all the wedding planners will be there. Talk about putting the cart in front of the horse. We don't have a boy yet but sure lets talk floral arrangements. Like buying a wedding dress just in case you.. Saturday night rolls around?
Twinkle looks around sees a famous wedding planner and is like thats it game over, lets go! But there is Yuvi again this time with a gun?! He literally brought a gun into what seems like a high end hotel without security taking it away! WHAT THE?HOW THE? And Twinj are still obvious that the guy is right behind them??
W*F is up with the show and the doli ? Was it left on the sound stage from some old historical show or movie and the creators are like "reuse, repurpose, recycle'?
I legit laughed myself off my chair with Mahi/Devika's entry. The most beautiful the most stunning. I'm going to have someone announce me into every room like that.
Then some random drunk dude comes up and is like "Im an eligible guy" and he throws a bottle. Yuki saves her albeit accidentally. And she is all high and mighty.
and then there is this very odd scene where KUnj is making every argument a sane rational viewer is making and Twinkle is personifying the CVs stand point and basically saying " Nah bro. I know thats my sister".
Seriously Twinkle looks like she's off her meds or something trying to convince people that Mahi is alive. She spent decades convinced her sister was dead but now its like they share a psychic bond?
back home in Amritsar Bebe puts Anitha in her place and this was seriously my favorite part of the episode. Anita decides to move on to fresh prey.
Precap: Twinkle decides to bust into someones room on the sheer belief its her sister.
Knocking ?? What knocking? Only to find Yuvi and devika in each others arms. And she starts ranting again. And asking why are you speaking like this Mahi? We are back to sad twinkle.
It was a wacka - doodle kinda episode. and i guess this is me lashing out a bit. Once again if you liked it then I'm happy for you but you were warned what this pos was going to be all about!
