Thats exactly what I mentioned in one of my posts or comments. Jaidev once said that Abhay ki galti ki saza Adarsh ko na mile but Adarsh is paying the price of both his brother's mistake. If Jaidev had spoken up regarding his marriage both him and Jaya would have been happy and Suha would have gotten a reality check. At the same time Abhay eloping and getting married made her fear that Adarsh will do the same. Well der aaye durust aaye, I'm glad that Jaidev learnt from his mistake and will help Adarsh.

I agree. It was clear from the post-verdict conversation between Suhasini and Swadheenta that what she showed her boss from the file was indeed about Banwari's pistol dismantlling and reassembling prowess.

But this is odd. The file with the lawyers should normally have contained details about the man's disappearance at the war front and the subsequent discovery of the corpse that was identified as Banwari's. There would be no reason for this file to have anything about his pistol dismantling skills. It is not his confidential record file, after all! That would not have been handed over by the Army for an open trial, especially since it had no bearing on the question of his death, which was settled on the basis of the fudged DNA report.

Whereas the matter of the face being disfigured would have featured in any file about his supposed death.

And later, Suhasini also seems to be reading from the file that Banwari was a very brave man. It does not seem logical.

But then I suppose one should not expect complete logic or consistency in such scripts. By TV standards, the court scene was surprisingly good.

However there was another hole in it centred on the threat message. Now Suhasini picks it up from the floor near Sudha's feet and brings it out with her to quiz Swadheenta about it. How then does it go back to Sudha afterwards in court. She suddenly produces it as if it had never left her!

Not that any of this matters much. I liked the way Suhasini handled the farewell to Banwari - there was a certain easy air of assurance and composure combined with understated kindness - and also the way she 'reappointed' Swadheenta. She did not say she had not meant to really fire her. That was exactly what a senior professional like her would do.

No one said anything about Suhasini's fees!😉 I suppose that will come from Banwari's restored fortune.

This apart, Swadheenta is not merely too easily taken in by appearances - in this case that of the fake Kabeer Chacha - but is also lacking in the power of observation. It is Suhasini who spots the dropped message, and that too out of the corner of her eyes after she had passed it. Not Swadheenta. I suppose she will learn with experience.

Hey shyamala, after last night's episode it is clear that Swa showed her the pistol dismantling point as well as she praises Swa for pointing it out to her.

A small clarification.

Swadheenta does not tell Suhasini that Banwari is a champion in dismantling and reassembling a pistol. It is the crooked Lance Naik Sukhi who does that.

What she points out to her senior from the case file - immediatetly after Sukhi has finished claiming that Banwari died in his arms - is clearly that the face of the alleged corpse of Banwari Lal had b been defaced, something that immediately negates the Lance Naik's assertion. For Suhasini then immediately pins him down on that, and the rest follows.

I agree with the consensus here that Suhasini Sinha is the only credible and perfectly acted character in this show, where the lead pair look washed out most of the time. I do not think I can stick with this one for much longer, but for as long as I do, it will be only for Meghna's Suhasini.

Shreya my dear girl,

How nice to run into you here! Here is an extra big hug for you!🤗 🤗

But I am only on a one, or rather two off peep into this forum, so you are most unlikely to see me here again. It was more to see what was being said about Meghna's Suhasini, who is far too well sketched out for the average TV character, after that very good court episode.

I think I ended up watching this show, right from Day 1, for lack of anything else! I have stopped watching the Jodha Akbar re-run weeks ago, for it bored me stiff, and Siya ke Ram seems to be aiming at a 1000 episode run, seeing the glacial pace at which it is moving. I think I shall be forced to abandon that too pretty soon! Looking at Bharat lamenting for 3 episodes before moving to Nandigram was almost too much!😉

Do see my response to starstruck above about the denouement of the court case, and the one hole in the otherwise sound script.Anyhow, at the risk of upsetting many here, I must confess that I am not at all interested in this flat lead pair, that dismal Jaidev, who ruins his wife's life simply because he does not dare to say No to his parents, gets my goat, and many of the scenes, especially the college ones with Asad, remind me of the 1960s and 1970s films. I am sure the show will pall on me very soon. But do have fun with it for as long as you can!

My RA is getting worse and affecting the right hand most of all. There are days, like yesterday and today, when the hand is a little better and I can type this much, but this is not a frequent blessing. I had hoped that the replaced knee would at least stay free of the RA, but that too was belied, because the patella was not replaced! And so it goes.

Let us hope that by the time CGM begins, I will be able to do at least brief takes on it and that we can all regroup there. I look forward to that. Take care, my dear.

What a surprise to see you on this forum. I was not aware you were following the show. How are you doing?

Meghna Malik's Suhasini is truly a delightful character. I watched the show from the first day, and seem to have stuck with it so far. In fact I like the pace of the show. I hope they keep up the pace and wind up the show without dragging the story.

@Shyamala - I have learnt it the hard way to watch Indian TV serials with our brain in our pocket.
Btw, I agree with what you said about Siya ke raam. Bharat's lament seemed never ending and it was too much to take. 😆

Very sad to hear that you are in lot of pain. Take care Aunty.
Looking forward to reading your CGM analyses. Would be so wonderful to re-group and watch our favourite actor again.

I too started watching Dahleez for lack of anything else, but the show has grown on me. I'll be in serious confusion if EK plan to air CGM on this slot 😛.

I suppose these documents may have been sourced by the NGO helping out Bhanwari fight his case 😕. Even for a one-two peep, your response is never flippant 😊

Whereas the matter of the face being disfigured would have featured in any file about his supposed death.

Yes. The court scene was very good. I liked the way Suhasini approached the judge and requested him to finish the hearing on that day itself. And the best part, they finished the case off quickly. Tedi Suhasini was truly a delight to watch.

However there was another hole in it centred on the threat message. Now Suhasini picks it up from the floor near Sudha's feet and brings it out with her to quiz Swadheenta about it. How then does it go back to Sudha afterwards in court. She suddenly produces it as if it had never left her!

Now this is why I miss your analyses of any show. Loved the way your put this across.

She'll learn. When it eventually comes to the face-off between Swadheenta and Suhasini, I hope Swadheenta has observed and learnt a lot from Suhasini. Else, the face-off between these two will be an anti-climax.

I am glad you are of the same mind as I am about Bharat. After watching him for 3 days, I am strongly tempted to take sanyas myself😉, or else to fondly hope that one of those rakshasa birds would descend on Ayodhya, carry Bharat off and eat him!😉😉
