The climax scene where Deepika faces off with Arjun Rampal towards the end was copied completely from Madhumati an old film with Dilip Kumar. I will not give the plot away, but people who have watched the movie know what I am talking about (hopefully😉).

I was randomly flipping through channels when I came across this movie and was surprised to see the end. I guess only the fire scene in the first half is original, though well-done.

well...i havent seen the film, so can not say much bit this film is about a film, so you can expect some scene stealing 😆

This is really sad on my part but haven't seen Madhumati... but I'm not surprised that another scene was copied!

since so many people have already seen the movie , I guess I can disclose the scene I am referring to. Spoiler alert!

In the old film Madhumati as well, the villian kills Vyjantimala. So the hero (Dilip Kumar) finds a look alike to impersonate the real one to trap the killer. But during the actual confrontation the ghost makes an appearance and makes a reference to her dead body buried by the villian. Only at the end, we realize it was the ghost and not the impersonator.

It was a beautiful movie with lovely songs...do watch it if any of you get a chance.
