Shortcomings of Sahir and the show.

I love Sahir and its basically Shantanu who makes me love him. I think mostly everyone is here aware of his strong screen presence. You can't bat an eyelash when he is on screen coz his performances sre so effortless and are so damanding. I wouldn't divulge into Shantanu coz then it would become a Shantanu post which is not intended this time 😆

I am mostly concerned about Sahir so I will just talk about him even though its a kind of a problem I see in the show as a whole.

So, in the first two weeks Sahir was all mushy and cute and all but then the fight happened and his temper, pain and anguish came back. Its all kinda really fine. . .But I dont know how many people feel this out there but it gets kinda monotonous to see your favourite actor doing same kind of scenes of a particular genre all the time. Like if Sahir is cute, he is ONLY cute. If he is angry or hurt then he is ONLY that in every scene. For me I wanna see him doing something more. Its partly on CVs how they treat their male characters and just because the show says 'Girls On Top' you cannot restrain a male individual to grow. Its high time that we see other sides of them too. For Sahir I would like to see his passion for music which is hardly ever pointed out. Sahir's past needs to be addressed now properly. Megha's sudden exit was BLAH for me coz I dont think it served any purpose, we got to know nothing!
And while these things are happening with Sahir and Isha, I wanna see his fun, naughty, crazy persona with Rave and Gia. He need not be with Isha in all the scenes.
I think it would not only build different relationships but also give a variety of flavours to them to perform and for us to watch. Just like the girls are not always playing a single emotion, the boys should have that same thing too.

Sahir as a character holds a lot of potential in adding uniqueness to the storyline of IshIr but unfortunately the character is not being explored enough.Like you said, I also feel that a deeper insight into the male characters is really required as though the show aims to focuss on the girls ,the boys have become/been an integral part of their lives and so they deserve a little more screen space.

Sahir has a lot of potential in him but it is not utilised even a bit. I agree with the point that you stated. Sahir is always given repetitive scenes. Personally, i like the aggressive scenes more than the romantic ones. He puts his best in the scenes and Saloni always kills the essence of the scenes 😔 I saw a tweet - "If Sahir would be given a monologue, women empowerment won't take backseat" We all know the show is about girls but doesnt mean boys should be ignored. The show has completed a month and I find no reason of liking Sahir other than Shantanu playing the role. Its high time he should be given quality scenes and screenspace more than 3 mins _/\_

Sahir can be a very interesting character if it's portrayed wisely. His so many more shades will be a treat to watch . and the fact that Shantanu Maheswari is playing it adds more passion to it.

This time I kinda agree with you and kinda not.
Yes it is true we started watching this show because of Shantanu and it is because that we are expecting so much from Sahir.
It is not true that his character don't show many shades..
For example yesterday's episode...
First the disappointed Sahir because he felt they have a little chance to be together but he has to pretend a fake relationship
Second the confused but lover sahir who cannot let any problem to isha because of him.
Then that happy and content Sahir who was back with his love.
We can easily see the happiness with wich he entered the room to meet isha again. To spend some time with her.
And then the angry,heartbroken and disgusted sahir who got to know the reality behind his selection.

Too be really frank...its not Sahir character who need to be emphasize but isha's character.she is soo doubtful towards Sahir.on one side she says she loves him but on other side she don't trust him.
Its Saloni who needs to improve because yes Shantanu has lot of potential no doubt and he has proved himself in every scene but we cannot ignore the fact his most of the scenes are with Saloni. Her lack of expressions directly or indirectly effects there scene. How much he ever try he single handedly cannot pull the partner scene.

Sahir's past should be disclosed soon .i want a grey sahir in the past. May be Sahir had cheated on isha as once mentioned.

But right now in really excited too see the angry Sahir.
Precap was bang on..
Im sure we will witness a great performance by Shantanu.
Even want to see more of sahir gia and rave..they are treat to watch together.
And yes boys bond too...i hope once all the couple are together they may show...it will be bliss to watch all three of them together.

One more thing their confessions are soo abrupt.
I want some more passionate.
It take only few seconds to them to patchup and same goes with their breakup.

To put it out bluntly if Shantanu would not have played Sahir , I would have never watched the show. In the past one month Sahir's writing just doesn't stand out which a protagonist's should have been and let me not even go into the screentime they are giving Sahir. 😕

If u ask me the only thing running rite in GOT is the story,character n scenes of Gia sen...rest of the show is pretty much okay and at times going haywire.

Coming to sahir, the main issue with the character of sahiris that cvs are not showing what they have projected about him and ishir. Till now they have only thrown the hint about him through rave, giaand esha...that he used to be selfish, cheater, stud blah blah blah...honestly the sahir I am watching right now is not at all seems how these 3 girls has projected him...

Its like I am watching the intense SWAYAM SHEKHAWAT ...

What I thought about Sahir is that he must be gray that loves his girl but not shy to flirt with other girls ...who is passionate about music and must be awesome singer but don't follow any professionalism

But here wat I am seeing is a loyal bf who has his self-respect and also morals and values of his own...honestly its like watching swayam shekhawat2.0 minus the saintly deeds.

At times the story of GOT moves too much in rush . Ishir just keep on breaking up and patching up without any proper explaination and expresssion. Rave and gia used to hate sahir so much but it takes only seconds to accept him n ishir used to discuss megha in a way as if she used to be very important part of sahir's past so the tatoo in sahir's hand explained. But megha gone without adding anything to story.
