I don't think Sonam is trained dancer or may be she was supposed to act as a non-dancer. Someone who doesn't know dancing but still wants to express her emotions through dancing.

I remember when Manichitrathazhu (Bhool Bhulaiyya's original) was released. It was directed by Fazil, a renowned director. Priyadarshan assisted him. Anyways, in the last scene Shobhana who is actually a trained dancer was asked to do dancing in such a way as if a non-dancer would do.

Because it was not actually ghost but her innerself who thought that she is Nagavalli (Manjulika in Hindi) so she was not supposed to dance like Nagavalli but as Ganga. Shobhana said that it was so difficult for her.

We disagree here😊. I would rate it higher. Wasn't that scene with Sunil Dutt from Amrapali? She reminded me of Vyjayantimala a lot.

Deepika was GREAT 😃 I loved her, especially in first half and at the end. Her dancing was great too. As a debut, she couldn't had expected a perfect launch than OSO. 👏

I've yet to see Saawariya(probably on DVD)

deepika has an advantage in that she seems to know how to work the bolywood circles. do not know that sonam will ever learn that so i like sonam for who she is 😊 😊

But didn't Deepika say that she trained for 6 months in Kathak for the Dhoom Tana song😕...So wasn't that dance number supposed to be Kathak,if she trained for Kathak😕

Personally,I liked Deepika as Shantipriya👏,she was alright...But as Sandy,she hammed a bit....Sonam wasn't downright bad,I mean,there was nothing much she could do with that half baked badly etched role,but thankfully,she didn't ham or go really over the top as Kareena did in her initial films....I'd give Sonam some more time,and ditto with Deepika...Though I'll say this much for Deepika,she is the first model to act decently in her first film(albeit only in the first half)👏

Sonam and Rnbir need to get out of the SLB influence,the way they go on about him in interviews,they seem to think the sun shines out of SLB's backside...And Deepika needs to get away from Farah..It'd be interesting to watch Deepika in a Ashutosh Gowariker film and Sonam in a K Jo film
