Wrapping his own little arms around his tiny angel, he promised to stay beside her. His own heart crying in pain after giving fire to four bodies of their loved together.
Arnav's mother gathered both in her arms, after losing her husband, daughter and her dear friend with her husband in horrible accident, she wanted to die but no she have to be strong for these two.

Khushi: Why did you hit him?
Arnav: You are innocent Khushi, you don't know he was flirting with you, a 16 year old hissed in anger.
Khushi: Don't get angry. You're here to protect us na? Maa says you're man of our family now.
Arnav: And therefore I am telling you to stay away from morons like him.

Arnav: I Love you Khushi! Let's get married.
Khushi: Arnav you're mad. How can we marry like this? Without any rituals and without anyone present to give us blessings.
Arnav: We don't need anyone Khushi, we know we're bonded for births.
Khushi: Arnav!
Arnav: Come on Khushi we'll marry again in grand way later. This is just for me, that you'll never leave me.
With that he filled her maang, and breaking few old woods they took pheres. They were just 22 and 18 year old then.

Khushi looked beside her to see him staring stars above them in deep thoughts. How far they have come from those innocent kids to stubborn teenagers and now a mature being.
She's 23 now, it's been six years when he confessed his Love to her and they stepped into this relationship. Five years to their secret marriage when in eagerness to make her his, he married her. Everything was so amazing, their bonding, their Love but now what have changed suddenly?
She sighed, Five years ago, he started his business so he can give a comfortable and happy life to Maa and her. He have actually started believing that he is now man of family and it's his responsibility to take care of them from small age and he was successful in it. His business was a success with his hard work and passion and soon he was a successful entrepreneur with lots of awards on his name.
Their relationship was so smooth and comfortable, filled with love and passion. They have crossed all the barriers long ago, without any questions as they had this trust on each other.
They would have been married by now of Arnav would have not postponed their marriage due to some important deal in abroad. Six months ago he left for a month for this deal but she didn't knew that, that one month will change everything.
After his return he started staying aloof, first she thought he is stressed because of business but with time his behavior started becoming more aloof and he started avoiding her even Maa noticed it and tried to console her. She heard many gossips about him and some girl Lavanya who visits at AR regularly, she didn't believed because his work is related to fashion industry and it's common.
But now she knew it , the late night calls. Leaving early for office and coming late on the name of work. I believed but soon got to know his absence from office most of the time when he used to told her he is busy in office.
It felt like I am now in a relationship with some stranger, the bestie of mine I knew is not him, the Love f my life who can do anything to see me smiling isn't him. He's no longer the Arnav I knew. The affection and desire his eyes held towards me making her shiver earlier are now always finds reasons to avoid her. Now all she get is another mask which was only for outer world but now for her also, it seems like she is just another girl for him.
She knew he is going away from her and her gut is telling there was another girl behind there dying loves and relationship. Sometime when she calls him it's answered by some girl, whom he tells one of his employees but don't she know no one dares to touch his things. His weekly trips on the name of business. With each passing day it is becoming evident that he is cheating on her and now now wanting to bearing the shame of dumping on she have taken her decision.
Khushi(standing behind him): Arnav
Arnav: hmm
Khushi: I think we should end this.
Arnav(turning to her): Whatare you talking about?
Khushi: You and me both know what. Maybe it was never meant to be, we have been together from childhood which maybe you thought as Love but I can see you're no longer interested in this relationship. If you're quiet because you don't want to hurt me or something than you're doing wrong Arnav because your this changed behavior is hurting me more.
She cried at last as Arnav gathered her in his arms consoling her giving her hope once again only to break it.
Arnav: You're right Khushi! May be it is for good, I am sorry.
Khushi: It's ok. But I have loved you Arnav yesterday, I love you today and I'll love you forever.
Time passed and I shifted to London, as she could no longer stay with him under one roof. However hard she tried to forget him but she always imagined him, sometimes his string arms around her consoling her, his butterfly kisses, how he used to make love to her, everything but than she had to console her that he's changed man now.
She never wanted to go there but when she got to know Maa was ill, she couldn't stop herself as after her parents death Maa and Arnav had been her only family.
Arnav was shocked, not because she is here, he knew she would come to meet Maa but looking her condition. She looked paler and very much weak. She is not his Angel he knew, but what was the bigger shock was her baby bump. She was pregnant when she left three months ago, Dammit!
Arnav: Why didn't you told me?
Khushi: I wanted to! But not wanted to bind you with me just because of this baby when you were not happy with me.
Arnav: This is not an excuse.
Khushi: Yea this is a reason. I didn't wanted me or my child to become a hindrance for your happiness. You have done so much for me after my parents death, so I could have done this much for you.

She broke into tears as she read the letter, how can this happen? How could she miss this? He was dying all along. He never stopped loving her but he learnt to conceal it under the mask of indifference. She received the call last day calling her back urgently only to see Arnav taking hi last breaths in hospital.
Arnav: I am sorry Angel! I never wanted to hurt you. I Love you, I do but I don't have time to show it anymore. Just wanted to see you before I close my eyes and with that he closed his eyes for forever.
After that his lawyer has given her his will and letter, he have named his everything on her name long ago when he got to know about his illness. He had a whole in his heart therefore he suddenly left for a month on the name f work and after returning his aloof behavior now all make sense.
He hide it because he didn't want to hurt her and Maa, he knew he is their only support , when he got to know he have no chance of getting cured. He distanced himself from them so they start living on their own without his support. He'll be no more there to support them and protect them.
He was succeeded but when he got to know about her pregnancy, he regretted because he wasn't their with her for even short time. In letter, he have only asked to care care of herself and Maa, now they need to become support of each other. He'll be always there between them in their hearts and in the form of his baby.
Lavanya, his doctor told me how much he loved me and used to talk about me making me feel so low that I thought hes having affair with her when she was his doctor. Due to my doubt I lost the chance of spending sometime with him.
Arnav is gone and I knew it. All he have left is his memories to cherish and me crushed into pieces yearning for him. I failed to enjoy the little things with him and when I look back I realize that was the big things.
Almost everyone claims to Love, but only few have heart to Sacrifice it for the happiness of their Love.
