Yesterday's n day before yesterday viplav'd convo with hismother n sister ,tell me where do you see such emotional n logical convo on indian tv shows.
Anyway I hve noticed thst IKRS id kind of so loved that we have so many reactions.good for the show.
Am happy that all the new members who have joined and all active members have tsken our forum rank to no. 5 anf maintained it .If all were here we would be no. 1 on if for sure.

Meenu !I'm too loving current track..I had issues with the writers not only now from the very beginning..every show had its ups n down but never give up..right now they proved me back by giving balanced episodes. Writers managed it pretty well by displaying valuable amount of emotions..No worries dear.

I agree with you to some extent, if this show is moving towards Saas Bahu Drama then I to will have to move on.

The romance and whether S R happened or not was not my focus in the show. The chemistry between the leads is very good and it makes watching this show easier, but there is too much negativity in the show for my liking.

And what turns me off is this portrayal of the heroine as a Mahaan doormat that wants to change every evil person into a saint by her love and goodness.

I would have liked it if the show went on to show that Dhaani wanted to be educated more than trying to bring this Dysfunctional family to learn to love her and keep a family that has no love lost between them together.

The show was supposed to be about breaking old social norms that were hurting our society not about a Saas that is a murderer that got away with it and is still around to
plan to harm again.

I hope the PH brings in some new writers with fresh innovative ideas to capture our imagination and send a good message at the same time as they entertain us.
A good mystery, a somewhat normal family, a little light hearted humour and some intelligent interaction of well defined characters would be very welcome.

Thanks Tarun for letting me vent on your post. Take Care.

@blue this is what i dont like most of the indian serials where murderer walks freely even after doing horrible crimes.Cv's are in a delusional world that she is the only crowd puller and messed up whole DT KT and TT equation.she is not even a powerful character but just barks all the time. They completely forgotten DT and durga track and romance all the time doesn't give further interest at all for me.tarun is right you can't have a show where romance is only a driving factor everytime.Feel like to rant many things but dont want to waste time in all these things.

Sorry but I disagree. The show is on right path according to me. There is no overdose of romance. This is nothing compared to my all time fav show which went off air 1 year back. Cvs are doing brilliant job in balancing both drama and romance. Now consummation is something which should not be glorified. Come on it's a natural process which every newly wed couple pass through. Sometimes I feel what do we viewer's exactly want from the show ? When they show romance we feel it's OTT and when there is drama then also we crib. I completely agree that some tracks were left out like TP-Shambhu drama or say Sarla Kaki-Piya plot. Some unnecessary tracks were there like Tulsi drama or Trip-Dhani marriage track. But then these were all TRP gimmick and in fact proved to be good in terms of numbers. Coming to DT-Durga-TP track then it was side plot and never meant to be central theme. Now coming to confession plot, agree it was rushed but then Cvs didn't want to explore typical falling in love phase. They didn't waste time in it and quickly shifted to main plot of widow Dhani's remarriage. Anyways I might be in minority here but then this is my honest opinion.

Akki I am very much with you . I think there is a pre conceived notion that this is how a show should be . A strong central Matriach or Patriach . A love story which has phases . A SR should be elaborate and done after 5 years etc etc

Because I don't see shows I am enjoying this progression . I agree on loop holes and logic , a lot of negativity from the likes of Kanak but the Core remains intact. The impossible love of the couple and how they stand up for each other .

To be honest I am loving it . Decided to keep quiet about it as a lot of people may not agree.

Exactly. This balance is necessary and I am really impressed with Cvs on this Raja track as it got merged with ViDha's marriage smoothly. So far I am loving this cute romance.

Exactly ..!! Agree with you. People have that assumption based on previous shows and they feel like "This should happen and That should not". IKRS would have become typical candy floss show had they used same leads falling in love phase then confession and then marriage. By doing that main widow theme would have been on back burner. Cvs wanted to show how Dhani transforms from timid docile widow into smart , bold and outspoken girl and they achieved this to some extent.
The main theme was a guy falling in love with widow and how she faces all hurdles and their Love conquer this orthodox society. So basic plots for this show were 1) How Viplav falls in love. 2) Widows plight and The way society behaves with them.
3) Complex relationships of Tripathi family. 4) ViDha marriage

All above plots have been explored in detail with subplots in between. What more you expect from Cvs ? Barring Shambhu Death Track and Dhani-TP marriage I am quite happy the way IKRS story has shaped up.

Yes, very much agree the show has a fairly good balance of drama & romance.
No show is perfect so to say. The same with IKRS-- it has had its share of ups & downs.
As long as they stick to the original theme & balance it well with side tracks, that should work.
Agreed some of the side tracks specially Tulsi drama was not necessary, but alas TRP rules in the end.
So the makers are forced to bow down & compromise now & then.
I for one enjoyed the cute romantic moments after ViDha marriage while Dhani was still in the Ashram
All in all, all the impt. characters ( ViDha, KT, DT) are doing a good job
Movin' forward, I definitely want to see DT's evilness exposed & Dhani's education, career with VIPs support ofcourse
