"Yeh Mr. and Mrs. Khurana kab aenge?"
"Bade log hai, time pe kaha aate hai!"
"After a year we will be getting a scoop on them!"
"Shhh...look here they come!"
A white limousine stops near the grand staircase of the mansion. Few bodyguards' make way for them to come out as media had gathered around the car. The chauffer opens the door; Siddharth Khurana gets out of the car in his white tux. He bends down and helps the lady, his better half out of the car.
Their eyes get hooked onto each other; meanwhile she stands beside him flaunting her baby pink saree. The flashes of the camera, the parade of questions that the media were chanting were just a melody for them. They were hardly listening, since they were busy being lost in the other's eye.
"Don't forget to smile, Mrs. Khurana." He whispers.
Her trance breaks, and she looks down nervously. Siddharth raises his hands in front of her,
"Shall we?" he asks courteously.
She puts her arms around his, and they start walking up the stairs.
"You look handsome, Mr. Khurana." she mumbles.
"I try not to.." he chuckles pulling her closer to him.
"How are you?" she asks genuinely.
"I am good." He replies in a brisk manner.
"Won't you ask me the same?" she stammers.
"I don't want you to lie to me." He smiles at her and she sighs sadly.
"It's good to be back, Siddharth."
"Yes. It's good to be back, Roshni." He presses her hands slightly, staring deep in her eyes.
She knew at once what he meant. But before they could discuss it further he interrupts her,
"One final smile for the show, honey?" they had reached the top of the stairs, he makes them turn around to face the media one last time.
They flash their teeth to the cameras and bid goodbye.
Before they could turn back again and go inside, they heard one of the questions of the reporter,
"Sir, Ma'am how is your baby?"
The smile disappears from their faces instantly, and they go rigid holding onto each other for support.
"Mr. Khurana! Welcome! Please come inside!" they heard a voice from behind and turn to face him.
"Are you okay?"
"I am good. Let's go."
They spoke in hush voices before entering the mansion of Gaurav Khanna, the new partner of RK Group of Industries.
