Feature: Tele stars on Children's Day
With Valentine's Day and Friendship Day gaining acceptance among Indians, Children's Day (November 14) seems to have taken a backseat. We spoke to some television actors to find if they would be celebrating it with their children and also their memories of this day as a kid.
Vaishnavi: Thank You for reminding me. I am linked to many NGOs working for the underprivileged children. Every year on this day I visit an orphanage along with my daughter but this time I won't be able to take her because she in Hyderabad staying with my mother. Naturally I will be missing her. But this is the only day when we can help out the poor orphaned kids that's why I feel honoured to do such charity work. As a kid I remember once we had a fancy dress competition and I was chacha Nehru!
