Last year I couldn't celebrate Holi with my child since he was very small. Even though this year, I do not have any specific plan, I will make it a point to take him down in my building and play. During my childhood, my dad was in the army and I used to celebrate the festival in the army colony. There we used to only play with water and balloons post which we used to play Antakshri, dumb charades and other games. On the other hand, as we all grew up, I started hiding on the day as people started using harmful colours while playing. I urge people to save water since we have a water shortage, use natural and safe colours. Holi is a very beautiful festival and it should be played if it means something to you. Be safe.

This year, I plan to go for a Holi party with a rain dance theme and enjoy with friends. Back in my early days, we would celebrate Holi with our family and friends, dance till our feet would start hurting and enjoy the festival of colours a lot. People should avoid playing with colours that have chemicals since they are harmful. Play with either gulaal or water.
