Hi everyone š
I am new to this forum. I have been watching Swaragini over the past 6 months (whenever I get the time). I admire all the characters in the show.
I would be penning down a short story based on a figment of imagination. I could have chosen Swara and Sanskaar as the lead characters but I chose Ragini and Lakshya instead, since they have a lot of shades to their characters.
I would be introducing the characters during the course of the story
Boundaries...Part 1
She stood by the window in her cabin...staring blankly at the starry sky with a coffee mug in hand. Too many things had happened over the past 12 hours or so...and she needed time to absorb them. Memories were getting refreshed...which was not very comfortable for her...
Things were going on fine...till she received that phone call from the hospital at 7.30 am...Lakshya Maheshwari, the business tycoon, has had a major accident and was admitted in the ICU of the hospital where she...Dr. Ragini Gadodia was the second in charge. Since, then she did not get the time to breathe. He was in a very critical condition. His car had suffered a head on collision with an electric pole at breakneck speed. What remained were mangles of the car and a heavily injured owner. Ragini felt it was easier to handle a critical patient than the impatient media. She was glad that her boss was doing the job. After all its not everyday that a business tycoon gets almost fatally injured. Many theories were cropping up...drunken driving...business rivalries...conspiracies...but Ragini was remotely interested in these statements. Right then many incidents were unfolding right in front of her eyes.
Her thoughts raced back in time...not just 12 hours...but 12 years,,,,when she was 17 and had first entered the premises of her medical college. She came from a humble background and earned a prestigious scholarship in the esteemed medical college. It was a dream come true for her and her family. She had always nurtured dreams to become a doctor and had worked very hard for it.
That was when she had first spotted Lakshya Maheswari in the college canteen. He was 2 years her senior and a casanova. His family owned a stake at the medical college and wanted their son to be a doctor, so that he could ably take over as the chairman of the chain of hospitals. That is precisely how he landed in a medical college. He was hardly ever interested in academics...and being a dude (lets be very frank..you hardly get dudes in a medical college)...received immense female attention. Ragini always detested such people and felt that they were wasting resources...however, even she couldn't deny the fact that he was indeed very attractive...
A beep from the monitor brought her out of her trance...the machine was giving an indication...her patient showing some change...whether a positive or negative one...was yet to see...
Please let me know of your opinions...as its the first time i am posting in the forum
