Having said that..yep..his issues are much deeper than Suman alone..but in his mind her behaviour was the reason he left and everything changed..so he has made her the focal point of his hatred

Hey :-)
We all.have unique usernames I don't know what to address at times

I agree completely that suman behaviour 'that day was atrocious
What I meant is ,its not correct to make suman the face of his anger because she was a part of making a day/few days horrible ,but for the whole situation /hurt in sravan's mind There are more deserving people standing in the queue
Like for eg He has a pura parivar but it seems like no one extended a hand to support him

Or his.dad
Or.may be they all.had their reasons we will know. In some time

r may be not ,may be the issue of his mother leaving may have a different side to it

But.most.times.perception is reality

It's obviously wrong to blame Suman alone.

In my opinion, he used to confide in Suman (and not any other family member for some reason..everyone has someone they are more comfortable with) despite her not acknowledging him in front of others..
So when he got to know that his mum had left him, she was the one he turned to.
She revealed his problems to everyone and that stung even more..He cared the most about her friendship and support and thus her making a joke out of his situation hurt him the most..which is why he is focusing on her alone..doesn't justify it..but that's how I understand it

@username: true..addressing becomes an issue..
Is there a story behind the 6 t in yours?

To tell you the truth, the flashback scene was too melodramatic for my liking

I believe the CVs are trying to justify one act of wrong with another.. And this is not a healthy sign the concept of eye for an eye is too barbaric. Even yesterday I didnt like Pushkar justifying Sumo with giving us pointers that she has changed? So she should be forgiven...
Also, before we jump to any conclusions about Sumo being all wrong it would do well to remember that this flashback was totally shown from Shravan's perspective not from Sumo's side...
Shravan's problem is more deep-rooted than simply Suman being insensitive on that day. Though I am not discounting that Suman was insensitive and crass on that day.. there is still lot to be revealed. But, I do wish the show goes beyond redemption, forgiveness and provides us with characters who make mistakes at one point or the other but that doesnt make them evil or as punching bags for wrongs to be meted out to them for mistakes committed ten years back .

well said...agree with u indrani 😊

Hello Priya, yes I did find Sumo's behaviour ten years ago as insensitive, more so because she blurted out his family troubles in front of everyone and even when he fell down she didnt try to help. Though she clearly looked affected. There is a back-up story I am sure for Sumo, one which I felt was looming large when her nanu said it does not matter who thinks we are right or wrong, if in our own eyes we are correct then all is well. Although he said it in a different context, one can see the reverberating effect of this statement as panned out in the way adult Sumo is yet unaffected by the hurt she did to Shravan. I don't know if I am sounding all clear but Suman feels what she did years ago as simply bachpana. Even if we regard it as bachpana it was highly insensitive and crass for a friend to behave to a person who was in such a vulnerable state. Adult Suman is mature and has that empathetic understanding and yet she confronted Shravan that it was merely bachpana, bewaquoofi !!! This is something which I don't understand. Had the young Sumo her own reasons to behave in that manner and one which went horribly wrong for her as well as for Shravan but in her eyes she did correct and has hence nothing to justify.
And can I say your take on the show is extremely refreshing to read👏

^^^ thanks indrani that's very sweet of.you:-)
Your's and many other responses here has been an amazing read
About suman ,there is so much that we don't know
very nice observation about suman not even considering the possibility of sravan being upset ,that's out of place because suman's er characterization is she is so worried about hurting others(like yesterday's cab incident ) she overdoes it each time like promising to pay 3l in 3days

Its likely.she didn't really know that she was responsible for him leaving ,because he always spoke of going to London
I think she apologized for her near bullying incidents in school and not for anuly incident in particular... Just one possibility

We really have the same brain waves.😉😆
I was thinking the same too and had commented somewhere that Sumo actually did him a huge favour.😆

Because of her, he dropped everything and went to London. Had he stayed back, he wouldn't be the most eligible bachelor now.😉

Lol that's true
His family.is also one show piece ...
I think there are just two type.of.shows
Hero and villain type
Hero cum villain ...budget issues 😆
Here we are debating heroine cum villain or hero cum villain
Actually it's very simple its all about money I don't think they will need to hire a separate villain for this show we already have multi tssking options here
