I think that;s why we are hooked on anything even remotely modern :-)

TV shows many begins with a good hatke theme ,there were a few good show s BT eventually they metamorphosis into the regular regressive idea or they are taking off air
Trp system is so flawed that we don't even have a good new schannel now ,even they are customising their programs to please general viewers taste

To tell you the truth, the flashback scene was too melodramatic for my liking

I believe the CVs are trying to justify one act of wrong with another.. And this is not a healthy sign the concept of eye for an eye is too barbaric. Even yesterday I didnt like Pushkar justifying Sumo with giving us pointers that she has changed? So she should be forgiven...
Also, before we jump to any conclusions about Sumo being all wrong it would do well to remember that this flashback was totally shown from Shravan's perspective not from Sumo's side...
Shravan's problem is more deep-rooted than simply Suman being insensitive on that day. Though I am not discounting that Suman was insensitive and crass on that day.. there is still lot to be revealed. But, I do wish the show goes beyond redemption, forgiveness and provides us with characters who make mistakes at one point or the other but that doesnt make them evil or as punching bags for wrongs to be meted out to them for mistakes committed ten years back .

Totally agree the scene of the whole school laughing at him was to over emphasis that fact that sumo hurt him deeply ,as a child Sravan was hurt I buy that ,but now after all these years if he took time to meticulously plan a revenge its more that hurt. It's feeling the power in the equation though some twisted logic of reminding other person of his supiriorty

More than yesterday's one conversation where I found sumo wrong was her prolonged stand of not acknowledging his friendship in public ,that I thought was kind of insensitive ,but the response to that was mucb much more severe ,the things you speak in your childhood ,if the same things are repeated 10years later it definitely has different meaning ,which is not that difficult to understand

Priya

What both of them were in the past we all know!! In the present scenario, Shravan is a cold, indifferent person for which we know the reasons and Sumo also has changed from what she was in the past but we still don't know her story..Their past seems like so much of excess baggage!!!they have to lay it down and move on..Shravan doesn't hate her!! He jus wants a CLOSURE! He will realize at one point that by hurting Sumo he's isn't going to feel any better...he's struggling now and will struggle later!!

Hey :-)
I agree that the story so far has been written from sravan's POV , there is more to suman's story too
Closure like you said by hurting some one its not going to help

I am waiting for the tried adn tested goons track ,let's see how they characterize suman and Sravan with this event

Nice post
Shravan would have left sooner or later..but at that point..he needed his friends support...Sumo might not have made him feel better about his mother's (supposed) betrayal..but atleast he wouldn't have felt worse like he did after Sumo's atrocious behaviour..

Having said that..yep..his issues are much deeper than Suman alone..but in his mind her behaviour was the reason he left and everything changed..so he has made her the focal point of his hatred
