I love Percy Jackson too! 😳

Love the early Percy Jackson books.Full of snark and a different perspective on the familiar Greek myths.Not so the later ones with the confusing multiple povs.Plus the Greek gods are childish and kinda silly in the later books.They lost that majestic and awe inspiring aspects of the earlier books.Now they can't even put on their shoes without the demigods' help.

Did you read the companion volumes on Greek gods and heroes?

@bold - Are you talking about the Heroes of Olympus series? Because I found those bad as well. I didn't mind the multiple POVs, but they were all SO ANNOYING. The only new character I liked was Leo. Everyone else was annoying. Not to mention the lack of Percy, especially in the last book. :(

I read the demigod files or diaries or something. And the Greek gods one. Haven't read the heroes one. Also, if you'v read the Kane Chronicles, you can read the Kane/Percy crossover stories. (I've only read two of them, but they're good :) )

I can't remember Leo for the life of me.I think it says enough about the confusing characters.It would have gone better if they hadn't have involved the Greek demigods for the Heroes of Olympus series.I loved the Kane/Percy crossover stories too.Looking forward to the new book about Apollo.

If you don't mind romance, you might want to try the earlier books in Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark hunter series.Dance with the devil and Seize the night have some Roman background.
