Hats off to the CVs for such a wonderful episode. Contrary to our expectations, the twist of the past was not dragged, there was no misunderstanding on Shravan's part with Suman being made into a victim of circumstances. The humiliation did justice to Shravan's feeling of betrayal, hurt & pain. Also, brilliant writing by the CVs. Suman seemed to be voicing the opinion of the forum😆

I can't help but mention how refreshing it is to have an insensitive & narcissist FL & an unconfident, reeking of low self-esteem ML, who is also a scorned lover.

She hurt him, & how. At his weakest moment, when he needed her, she refused to listen to him, calling him as simply 'family friends' & revealed his most private moments (regarding his family) to the entire school. Yet he continued to plead her because he loved her & found comfort in her like no other. He looked to her to fill the void his mother left. He looked to her for a form of assurance that like his mother left, she wouldn't leave. And just when he needed her the most, she let go of him. He fell, but she did not help him. So he rose from the ashes, but this time, never to look back again.

No Suman, you did not do it in 'bachpana'. Until friday's episode, I could still say that this girl hurt him in innocence, even though there was never any denying that she was a bully. But after today's episode, I can't say the same. What she did was no innocent act. She was an all out bully, a true blue narcissist for whom friendship did not matter. All that mattered was her selfish ego, her need to boss over everyone in school & be the cool, queen B of the school. Shravan never mattered enough to her. Because if he did, she would have never done that to him, especially since she knew of his emotional vulnerability & need to confide in her regarding his family problems & issues.

'Tum kya ho aur main kya hoon'
No Suman, what he did today, was no different from what you did to him a decade ago. Yes, he planned & manipulated her only to humiliate her. But Shravan gave back to her in equal, not more, not less, today. Just like how a casual sorry on his part did not reduce the feeling of hurt & betrayal for her today, a casual sorry on her part would not reduce that feeling for him either.
Nonetheless, a valid question raised by Suman. Both of them have been wrong. So what is the difference between them? Is there truly a difference? I think no. Somewhere both of them were motivated by their inflated sense of ego, be it Suman a decade ago, or Shravan a decade later. Suman did so, because being the queen B was her coping mechanism to deal with the loss of her parents, & Shravan did so because getting even was his coping mechanism to deal with the permanent scar she left in his heart. Both hurt each other, but are equally affected by it. It hurt him to hurt her today, as he stood all alone while she walked away. And the same way it hurt Suman to hurt him, as he went away to London, leaving her.

Now that both of them have given each other a taste of their own medicine, let's see what it takes & how they become 'ek duje ke vaaste'.

Cheers,
Samridhi

Sam wait one more day before u conclude. She was insensitive and stupid. But let's see why Pushkar speaks for her.

There is a lot more to this story than what meetsthe eye. What she says in that one sentence Has a lot of hidden meaning 'Mein kya hun aur tum kya hoh'

I have this strong feeling that shras dad is dark and manipulative. I think Sumo knows something about his mom. Nothing else can justify Pushkar's grim look when speaking to shra.

She I think has made or tried to make amends somehow...

But really good writing by the cvs. Loved Sumos silence. Poor Shra he has achieved nothing with this revenge. His pain is bound to stay till he let's go and forgives.

I had thought that CVs would definitely show her as a victim bcos that's what happens in shows. But CVs have really surprised us,by showing that she was no victim and showed that she was really at fault..hell, now she doesn't have any right to be angry on Shravan after what she did to him.

Sorry but for the 1st time wished there was a DISLIKE button in IF. I mean really, I mean really. She not only insults him but even reveals his family secrets to the entire school. And you are claiming that hisab barabar. THEY ARE NOT EQUAL. Defo not. Even if they had showed Suman just insulting Shravan & calling him nerd, geek etc I wouldn't mind. But talking in a disparaging manner about his mom & dad in public. REALLY! And you think the scores are level???? Now i agree with the post which had complained that this forum is unfairly biased. That member was 200% correct. This is indeed a v unfair & biased forum. Feel heartbroken not just for Shravan but the lack of empathy of the ppl on this forum with whom I was looking fwd to chat & make friends on this EDKV journey.

I am v disappointed today not just with Suman but with this forum as well 😭 Its not just Suman who is hurt by Sumo but me by this forum

Samy ,
as usual nice post...tum kya ho aur main kya hoon

but I don't agree in one point that all is suman fault... I agree with her dialogue at her situation... "woh meri bachpana thi, bewakoofi thi" she was not matured enough to dealt with the situation...
I believe it's because of circumstances that happened...

and I agree with u that...that time it was suman ego and now Shravan ego...

yeah pushkar is defending sumo so some story is left for us to unfold..

good post 😊

First of all, please calm down.
Definitely the hurt she caused him is much much greater than the hurt he caused her today. But they are definitely equal now in terms of everything being out in the open. His purpose was to show her the mirror, & get even & drive the point across that he's no longer the Shravan who people can laugh at & he did that. So their relationship with each other is at an equal level now- she hurt him, he hurt her back. That's what I mean. I am in no way saying defending Suman & her actions.

I have to disagree with you there. Her actions, especially the public humiliation, can in no way be justified by her 'bachpana' or even the circumstances. This was no one off instance where she mocked him. She did it before too. But this time, it wasn't done in innocence. It was done consciously & she very well knew what she was doing, but she chose to humiliate him nonetheless. Not only did she refuse being her friend, but she brought in his family matters in front of the entire school, which is NOT COOL at all. Today's episode just emphasised & made it clear, without a doubt, that Suman was a bully & she did bully Shravan.

Whatever that Pushkar has to say, would most likely be with regards to whatever that happened after Shravan left. And that in any way doesn't justify Suman's actions back then. But yes the fact that she changed over the past 10 years does make her worthy of redemption & Shravan's forgiveness.

Partially agree
My.stand hasnt changed after today episode (although it was a very nice episode )
Suman was wrong 10years back Sravan is today ,over a period of time Sravan realized his mistake in considering her his friend ,she never valued him ...all agree
What I don't agree is a tit for tat response 10years later ,because in my opinion image and aukat are two different things. And people change over time ,to me it almost seemed like he was punishing someone else that too This was a notch higher

Crime and punishment should.be proportionate ,and all the hatred in his life he cannot attribute to one person ,ever if that person has been a bully ...that's way too unfortunate
