What an episode.

Loved the fact that they did not drag the past. Wouldn't term the teen Suman as a bully... but a narcissist. Does this justify Shravan publicly humiliating her... No. Although he had his reasons. After a long time.. a show on Sony that makes you question your own views.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ram Nath has skeletons of his own. Each character is flawed... no one is perfect.

Lovely episode. But they are not fair and square.

His last dialogue before she finally left, makes her sins irredeemable.😉

That was just POWERFUL. The way Namik delivered that dialogue, Nikita's expressions & the way she walked away after that. They are definitely not fair & square, but they both know how to give it back to each other. Suman may be silent for now, but until when will she remain silent? She has changed & matured, but somewhere she is still 'matlabi' & that came across in the way she attempted to apologize to him out of sheer convenience because he was in India & because she wanted to get rid of her own guilty conscience.
Let's see what's in store. For now, loving every bit of ShraMan.

Sometimes that happens, actually.
She might have wanted to apologise...but too many things might have happened too fast for her.
Once she settled her affairs, her guilt would have reduced, compared to her own hardships and it would have looked insignificant compared to what she herself had to go through. This why she was impatient and came out with the bhagode dialogue- because she simply would have dealt with her problems in a diff way.

And Purna did say that she had waited all these years to apologise...

And when he came back, she did twice- once in writing and once verbally too, if I remember right.

Maybe calling him up or connecting over social network would have worked better for him- frankly, I think it is just an excuse for him - he is simply not ready to forgive her.

Suman is not matlabi- the fact that she takes the trouble to make sure the tiffin reaches the kids on time shows how selfless she is now, even when it comes to non- family.

I will reserve my opinion on Shravan and Sumo for some more days before choosing team sumo / team shravan :-))

About Ramnath, he is a nice guy but he doesn't like career minded girls..it was proved multiple times..

1) When he tells Suman that family comes before work, Nanaji says work comes first
2)He doesn't like Sumo much , may b bcos she is working woman..I might be wrong.. the day shravan was coming , she goes to his room and he is quite rude to her.. but in front of her nanaji he is good to her..
3) may b his wife was career minded and hence left him and shravan.. chachi also says that I have found a girl for shravan just like you want..homely..

he isn't dark character but feels girls should be stuck at home.. guess shravan has same attitude ..in first promo he says why did they give such important case to a woman..

I would love to read your thoughts more. You are very eloquent. Please do continue to contribute to this forum.
WORD to everything you said. There is nothing more for me to add, really. Suman never cared for Shravan, whether it was 10 years ago when she humiliated him & broke him, or be it now when she tried to make amends only to free herself from her guilt. If she was truly guilty, she would have kept her ego aside, & apologized to him rather than stalking him & waiting for him to return.

What she feels..after today's episode, I am sure is not love. Initially I thought it was. Rather I think, in all these years, her wait to apologize to him, got her fixated with Shravan & his presence in her life. And also the hardships she went through in the past 10 years made her understand & value what he meant to her back in high school. But its not love, not yet.

Oh I love how real this show is.

Thanks a lot for the compliment.
Even I don't think Suman is in love with Shravan, or for that matter Shravan is in love with her either. Both have been obsessed about the other for different reasons.
Suman has waited to apologize. That feeling has always kept Shravan's presence alive in her life. Hence the continuous FB stalking. And at the risk of angering several people here, I do think that Shravan's being all hot and handsome has aggravated her obsession, and generated an attraction. Its not love. Its an infatuation. And I am not blaming Suman, nor does it mean that she is attracted to him because he is rich and successful (as Shravan said)...I think its in fact very natural for a young girl of Suman's age to be physically attracted to a person as hot as Shravan...nothing wrong absolutely. Also, I have to give it to Suman that she does genuinely want her childhood friend back. She was willing to forget the handsome grown up Shravan who obviously affects her physically, but not the memories of her childhood friend.

As far as Shravan is concerned, he has refused to let go of the hurt and insult that he had suffered 10 years back. In doing so, he has never been able to forget that he had a strong crush on Suman. He has also been stalking Suman on FB. And just like Suman, he is also physically attracted to her (Again, who wouldn't be!). But even for him, its an infatuation, not love.

But right now both are most hung up about their lost friendship. Once they rediscover, love will follow naturally...because they are meant to fall in love...after all the show is called Ek Duje ke Vaaste.

Beautiful post dear :)
Suman was wrong completely and 16 year olds can't be that stupid and immature to hurt someone in such a way. And the fact that she still hasn't realised how immature and insensitive she was makes me feel that her personality still is the same. The always right type. But at the same time the character is so real that you can understand Suman, I mean I still can be insensitive and not realise how harsh I am. Imperfect but thats what makes us human.
Coming to Shravan he is hurt and the mother running away just triggered his hurt more. Especially when Suman made him feel like 2nd class citizen. He needs to overcome that hurt and anger only then can he think rationally. Yes tit for tat is not going to help but sometimes human nature cannot be pacified without revenge. Its good in a way that he is getting his anger out because only then can their story progress.

First time I want to support both leads and not support both too

I really loved what you said and i cannot disagree with you. Its actually true that there is no love yet btw shraman but a feeling of attraction and infactuation. Now they are back to square one. To be ek duje ke vaaste they have to start being friends where suman have to prove shravan that he means alot to him. From being friends love ll follow and hence their beautiful journey
