These two are literally perfect for each other. And complement each other in ways that no one else does. Vivaan brings out a completely different side in Chakor, and has helped her in her most desperate times of need. It seems to me that many people in the forum recently and those who starting watching it post-leap and have little to no idea about what Vivaan was like when he was younger. He was a brilliant, noble, brave and loving child. He was intelligent and a quick thinker, he helped chakor get out of countless tricky situations. He even saved her life. Out of everyone, he was doubtlessly the closest to her. He was able to recognise her as chakor in her chauka persona when even her family couldn't. He was always willing to help others, to do the right thing he always had a strong sense of right and wrong and was always willing to stand up against the wrong. Even when nobody in the rajwanshi house was a good influence. When chakor was in the circus it was Vivaan who took Chakor's place in Azaadganj when he tried to free the children in Bhaiyaji's captivity.
People seem to think him weak just because he is emotional. So what if he is emotional? Why is it that people belittle qualities like that in men? When he loved, he loved with all his heart and that is why he took it so badly when people betrayed him. The boy has been through hell at such a young age and all through 10 years. His father died, shortly after his grandmother and chakor left around the same time. The 3 people he was closest to were suddenly ripped from his life. Then his mother proceeded to ignore him and married the man who Vivaan believed to be the worst human being on earth. He was left completely and utterly alone, something tejaswini took full advantage of by brainwashing and drugging him.
And how he was behaving, scared and unsure of himself... he has been conditioned into thinking that. Tejaswini and KN and Suraj have done everything humanly possible to make him believe that he is a worthless person. Did you see how he hallucinated about Aditya begging him to free him? His mind chose to do that because somewhere deep inside he knows that his biggest fear has nothing to do with dying. In fact, his biggest fear is not listening to his conscience .
Like you said, it will take work. A lot of work and patience and love, but he will recover. And chakor will stop at nothing to make sure that it happens. They need each other. they fulfill each other.
Honestly, romance in tv seriels is usually corny, repetitive crappy and overrated. Honestly, I have never before cared about a pairing in a serial before. The fact that I am crazy over these two says a lot about how epic they are. They are truly soulmates, and if the showrunners don't give them the story-line that they deserve then I'm quitting the show.
