Her history........... How she became what she is today, why she was Tulsi's first choice for the "keys"
Ganga had been introduced as a middle class girl - Ganga Joshi, who was the friend of a girl who had been chosen for Gautam. Tulsi met her when she had gone to see this other girl, but she ran away with another boy.
Tulsi had met Ganga Joshi twice, and was very impressed by her and the way she behaved. She thought that Ganga would be perfect for Gautam. They got married, but then she came to know of Tisha, they divorced and then she fell in love with Sahil, Tulsi and Mihir supported their relationship, so did Hemant ,and thus got them married. At first Pooja had a few problems with Ganga, but then she too realized that Ganga was a good person...
This reminds us of Tulsi... She too came from a middle class family, and Mihir and Tulsi had a nice relationship before they got married, the same way Sahil's and Ganga's relationship was potrayed. After Ganga was newly married, she used to wear the typical Gujarati saree, and leave her hair open, the way Tulsi's look was before the twenty year leap.
But since Shilpa signed in for Kkusum, her role and significance has gone down in Kyunki. But she still has a lot of importance in the story. I just hope that her role gains significance, because origanally she had been taken as a JUNIOR TULSI...
