Why this partiality with Randhir and why such sadism for Sanyukta?
It is obviously because of his super powers and a mere mortal like Sanyukta or anyone for that matter cannot compete with him.

I hope you remember his entry in ISRC where he came to save Sanaya during a task in a closed space whose atmospheric contents were being controlled.
But Randhir entered there effortlessly without disturbing the oxygen levels of the room.
How come no oxygen entered into the room when he had infact used doors for his entry?

In reality it was only because of this super power that Nirmaan became super impressed with him. The fact that he is a genius was an added bonus.
Nirmaan faced trouble making the space suits. Now what is the use of sending scientists in space when their safety is uncertain?
But with Randhir's superhuman abilities he could ensure safe return of at least one of his scientists even with those faulty spacesuits and the Mars mission can be deemed a success.
