Colors popular shows 'Swaragini' and 'Naagin' are winning the hearts of the viewers since the day of its launch. Recently, during Colors Golden Petals Award, both the shows swept away maximum number of awards. On popular demand, Helly Shah (Swara) and Varun Kapoor (Sanskar) won the Best Actress and Best Actor award respectively. If this was not enough, they also bagged the award for the Best Jodi for 'Swaragini'.
An elated Varun Kapoor said, "It was one of the most memorable nights of my life! For any actor it is a dream to get an award for their first show as a lead, 'Swaragini', helped me take my career as an actor to new heights. I would start with thanking the makers of the show, who saw the potential in me to play the character of Sanskar. They helped me grow and made Sanskar one of the favorite characters on television. The struggle in the Initial days of my career is something which made me stronger, I didnt give up even when I had a very little hope. With this award, I believe the hard work towards my passion has finally paid off. I can't thank my wife enough, while I was working so hard day and night, I somehow couldn't be around her a lot of times but she never failed to be by my side me. A lot of love goes to my parents as there were times when I couldn't talk to them every day but their blessings were with me the entire time. I dedicate these award to them and their patience. Audience made Sanskar what he is today and so I promise to entertain them with my work always. The journey has been beautiful and worth every effort!"
Naagin got the prestigious award for the Best show along with best personality - Mouni Roy (Shivanya) and Power-packed Performer - Sudha Chandra (Yamini Raheja).
With their kitty full of awards, both the shows are surely riding high on their success.
